Event for free DNP through charging with Steam never paid out

There was an event announcement on the main page that if you charge $10 through Steam before March 4th, you'll get some free DNP in your account on the 5th.

Well, it's now the 6th and I still haven't gotten the DNP, and I can't even find the event now!

i'd appreciate some clarification on what's going on and why I haven't gotten my DNP.
