Boss mechanic gauge and text overlapping

Every time I fight a boss that has one of those mechanics that has a gauge (rage meter, damage to stop mechanic, etc), the text describing the mechanic always overlaps with the gauge, making the gauge almost impossible to see. Any way to fix this? Asked a few friends and I seem to be the only one with this issue.
