Main Quest Apocrypha 2: The Door to Memoria Bugged

I have been stuck in the same dungeon, and could not proceed further into the dungeon because the quest did not trigger the wall to break, and the npc doesnt say anything to prompt the breakage. I have tried this dungeon over many times, still leading to the same result: stuck right at the beginning.

Yes I forfeited the quest and re-accepted it a couple times, still no change
