Can't Purchase Awakening costume?

I have purchased the EC to buy it, but it tells when I select the option to use EC in game it says that I cannot purchase it with EC? hovering over the item, or the discount box, nor on the awakening patch notes. please help, I really want the costume.

You cannot buy it with Eye Credit, you must use Eye Total.

Walmart isn't the only one that you can get it from, there's a vast variety of stores that sell gift cards compatible with Eyetotal, most of which with a ratio of 1:1. You just need to look.
