Costume synthsize not working for new costumes

are the costume synthesis bugged for the new costumes? i can't even highlight it to even synthesize but i can do a 15+ one i got from the synthesize package. just trying to figure out if this is a bug as heard from others that the old versions used to work but for some reason it doesn't work for this. and a hint of warning for others if this is a bug
