Laucher not downloading latest update. Stuck in place.

I decided to start playing this game yesterday, but it seems like when i try to download the game the launcher sends a message saying that "due the unstable network connection launcher has stopped. please run the launcher again" i already looked at many forum post with similar problems but i can't find a way to fix this. I looked for manual patching but i'm not sure how to properly apply it due i don't know what's the version of the game i have. Everything was running smoothly untill the launcher updated to version 651 and then it stoped and the problem appeared. I already make sure that it wasn't my internet conection (It's very rare to have a internet problem for me) i also uninstalled the launcher downloaded game and downloaded the full zip file and repeat the process with the same result. i even tried that "internet explorer" thing for "offline work" that i've seen in some other post with a similar problem, but the problem persist. i would even download the full game again, but it seems like the only links aviable are older versions that need to be updated- I would really apreciate some help for i look forward to play this game.

Try reinstalling the game, use the installer at https://us.dragonnest.com/game/download. If you live in United States (and maybe Canada?), you should be able to use Steam to install Dragon Nest easily if the EYEDENTITY installer is giving you problems. If you live outside North America, you should try playing the Dragon Nest Server that is closest to you geographically; there seems to be a lot of connection issues if you live far from the server.

The first time i tried to download the game was through the installer and it got stuck. The second time was through the full zip file wich then was updated with the launcher till the point i got stuck as the first time. (ver 651)
As for being in the US server i think it's the best choice due it's the closest to my location. Also i play other games that are located in the US without experiencing disconections or High latency.

I downloaded the game for 3rth time now from the link you provided (wich was the first try i did before) and the same problem occoured. It also got stuck at "ver 651" again. I'll leave the log and some screenshots that shows the progress from the download untill the error shows up again when the download arrives at ver 651. Thanks beforehand for taking the time to respond and help with this problem.

It seems like the only steam version that shows for me is for european server. Wich i once tried in the past and i had a ping around 200+ so it was a no go.

dude I have the same issue, I've re downloaded this game in steam 5 times already but still stuck in patch.
i'm getting stuck at patch00000579.pak , I'm in Canada.
please help!!

Try changing your Steam location to the United States to get the NA client. I'll talk to the ED staff about the issues various players have been getting with the launcher patching

Any help with this issue? I ran into the same problems and had to manually download the files, but there was an update and some of the patches patched, but after a few patches, I ran into the same problem again.... I do not want to have to manually download all files every time a patch is released. I never used to have these problems before when 93 cap was first released. There must have been some changes made to the servers sometime that I am unaware of for this to keep happening.
