Although not as powerful as Raven, Ripper boost is still a welcome addition to help him compensate his gameplay difficulty.
Damage wise, I believe the ranking is as follows: Raven > Ripper > Abyss Walker.
Does it look unfair to you? Well, not exactly. Even though Raven does not depend on an ultimate skill like his fellow Assassins, his control is still somewhat the hardest out of the three because of his fluid skills. By the time Ripper/AW uses one skill, Raven will have already unleashed two or three of his skills.
Difficulty ranking: Raven > Ripper > Abyss Walker
^ That's merely one opinion. Other assassin players might actually enjoy Raven gameplay more than Ripper/AW due to fact that you don't need ulti to deal huge damage (though Crippling Punisher does help reduce Raven skill delay even further).
