    Black Mara & Wheeling Staff

    Hi,

    Just wanna share and ask i've been searching for pvp builds for Black Mara.

    I always see them maxing out "WHEELING STAFF". I have no idea why.

    It doesn't have any connecting skills, same skill appears during transformation, so what?


    Any thoughts?

    I don't know much about pvp but they probably maxed it for pve purposes as WS is connected thru cm3 with insult, if not i guess to push the enemy into something that is linear moving/wall..? Not everybody have the $$$ to fund a second skill tree.

      I'm sorry Wheeling Staff is connected to what?

      What is CM3 and what does Insult skill have to do with it?

        Class Mastery III doesn't apply to PVP, so don't worry about it. To answer your question, Wheeling Staff does a decent amount of damage when maxed, and is mainly used for extending combos. I don't see it the extra damage as a necessity, but more experienced PVPers may disagree.

            You should probably read up Mara's skill one by one before even playing the class.. how are you playing a class that you don't even know how their skill works or exist.

              I have a Mara too and I use it quite often in PVP. And I must say that Maras still do good in PVP even without wheeling staff. Just max it just in case you change your mind in the future and use your Mara in PVE. You'll thank yourself later!
