im not sure but. I believe they automatically begone when needed in mechs like in Stage 2 of Volcano Nest where one must not destroy a single crystals on the area.
GM relies heavily on ducks and towers, if they're not allowed to be summoned how can GM be effective in nest?
So of course it is okay to summon them on any nest.
Stages with sensitive mech like ones that requires player to touch or avoid touching something usually have their own minion wipe system. Example: hit orbs to gain protection buff in final stage Granom Nest.
It is not recommended to resummon any ducks/towers during the mech after the wiping wave occured, as we can't predict if they're gonna be automatically removed again as they spawned or not. Sometimes if the summons are not removed, so it would be safe because they're not gonna attack anything. But then again, we can't predict it so better be safe than sorry. Just be patient, wait until mech is over before you go sparta again.
It is also not recommended to summon during mech which has mark on player, because sometimes the system would notice alfredo/ducks as players and give the mark to them.
In stages like Volcano Nest stage 2 where we have to avoid damaging crystals, or Rune Dragon Nest final stage where we have to keep 2 pillars HP below 30% yet also not killing it, or Ice Dragon Nest final stage where we have to break ice pillars while it is blue and have to avoid to touch it when it goes black because the damage will be reflected on ourself -- it is best to move towers and summon far away from the object. It's dangerous to leave them too close since we can't control if they accidentally damage the said object. Run away and recall those towers and ducks in far/safe area.
If your aiming for FDN better invest to other class , GM dps can't compare to other class in dps. so no one want GM for FDN. she needed boost from developer.
Summon wipes occur to prevent summon based mistakes so you can summon as you like. However as mentioned above, summoning immediately after the wipe during a mech can cause issues. Meanwhile for mushroom, it's good but having many summons may cause untimed death of mushrooms and can lead to grave mistakes.
