Heroes Not gaining EXP From Dungeons

my hero that i bring with me doesn't level up when i finish a dungeon he only levels up during remote dungeons

thats why it is important to read the patch note, levelling mechanism for hero and pet had changed like 1 month ago

Yeah, it's stupid.. but I think the only way to level them up now is to send them on missions. Such wasted times.

levelling ur hero without grinding dungeons, with just a few clicks is "such wasted times"? i dont get it

Back then you use to have a choice. Send them on missions or take them with you. Now you can't use them AND level them up at the same time. That's the wasted time, especially during EXP Bonuses. When you could've leveled them up quickly, they also removed the EXP gain from Nests. EX: I bought Karahan last tuesday and he still isn't at max level today. Back then you could max them in a few runs during EXP Bonus events.
