It's neither a glitch or bug. New MBD EX requires 20 bubbles per usage. You can get 10 bubbles by using tornado skills (Awakened Moonlight Splitter, Awakened Cyclone Slash and Awakened Eclipse).

just some additional info, you can also get bubbles when using flash stance (2 bubbles per hit) and this is the only way to obtain bubble prior to awakening skills
