Chronicle Character bug

Hi! Currently there is a the chronicle character event and I wanted to create on for the sake of just using it. So I typed in a random name which I didnt think was available and realised mistakenly it was too cheesy of a name. Created the character and deleted it afterwards to give it another go. But now the character creator states that I already have a chronicle character even though I deleted it. Any thoughts?

It's not a bug. You can only create Chronicle Character ONCE per season, and you cannot create it again even after you deleted that particular character.

You should've paid more attention to the event details.
