I wanted to make that class but i want to know more about it in pvp and pve

I've been playing Chaos Mage since 3rd spec release in 50 cap so I have quite a bit of experience with this class, from what I've learned here are the basics of PvP and PvE for CM. Alright here goes!
PvP Pros:
-strong crowd control skills
-good mobility with teleport
-excels in close to mid range combat
-focuses on high damage to single targets or small groups
-has 3 recovery skills
PvP Cons:
-fairly long cooldowns besides 2 of your main skills
-vulnerable against long ranged classes
-low physical defense
-people will complain A LOT about your class, you'll learn to ignore the salt
PvE Pros:
-a good combination of low cooldown consistent dps skills, and long cooldown nuking skills
-again nice mobility with teleport (especially after awakening)
-has both a 20% damage taken debuff and 20% elemental reduction debuff
-has incredibly high potential in a skilled players hands
-the skills are pretty af
PvE Cons:
-low overall defense (which gear makes up for usually)
-some skill cast times are quite long and can make you vulnerable (best to avoid casting them in dangerous situations)
-a lot of your skills take 4-5 seconds to deal their full damage, so if the boss moves during that time you will lose dps
-the class's primary nuke skill (gained through awakening) can be difficult to land properly in some situations
