That's why I say both candidate were jerks, I think we can agree that Clinton is better as a person and for being president (in general), still doesn't forgive some ideologies she has about full-scale war and what she has done in the past. Donald Trump list of negativeness is so much worse though. How could a women be even able to vote for him after all the awful things he said to them ?

This Election just felt like :Which candidate I don't to see at the white house ? and not as : Which candidate I want there ?

I think I will never be able to understand how can Hillary Clinton be ''that worse'' than Trump to the point of making Trump President. Even Paul Ryan didn't want to defend him anymore and the Bush family once stated they were going to vote Democrate because of Trump (forgive me if I'm wrong on the last, that news is older)

Donald trump list of negatives is worse than hillary is false. I would believe you feel this way because you've been listening or sourcing too much biased media. People were against hillary LONG before Donald but donald only became a terrible person when he ran for president.

Meh. I wanted Bernie overall, but still voted Hillary to oppose that orange orangutan. At least if there's any silver lining in this, I expect the left to be ultra awake for the next few years. Maybe we'll end up with a real left movement backing an actual left candidate instead of throwing all our eggs in the basket of the centrist just because she was the 'safer' candidate.

We're in the era of the internet. Anything is now possible.

Information flows everywhere. But we as humans still have the power to ignore much of it if it doesn't fit our mold of how we see the world.

Nobody saw the results of this election coming. That alone should tell everyone, regardless of whoever they supported, that far worse can happen down the road. Things that will make this election seem like an insignificant footnote. And we'll have no one but ourselves to blame in the end.

Like California seceding. And lord knows there's a lot of Californians considering that right now.

Thanks, I can say that understand better, but it's still sad to watch :/ He will be the most influent person in the world and the way he acted during the past year is scary for that. Most Canadians are progressist (Justin Trudeau is almost the Canadian Obama), so our cultures are quite different since USA tends to be conservative... So it's even harder to understand it at first due to culture diffrences

I still don't agree for Trump and I probably never will, but it's good to understand why it happened since we can't see the whole story from Canada.

Next year it will be France to be in that pickle since my friends from there told me a potentially Fascist party is dangerously on the rise xD

EDIT : Thanks for The Add-on for the Political Infos Alice. On our side, our analysts pretty much said that Bernie was simply ahead of his time, too much to the left for a country that tends to be on the right, and there's the fact you wanted Hillary for a safer choice since she had experience :/ It's not my country (but USA has alot on influence on Canada, want it or not), but to beat an extreme right like Trump, I think you needed a extreme left like Sanders.

I can't really say I was too enthusiastic about this election either. I didn't really care for EITHER candidate (they had one or two ideas I could agree with, but that was pretty much it). I had to practically FORCE myself to go to the polls to vote, but that was only because the rest of my family was voting. And as much as I wanted to vote for a third-party candidate, everyone KNOWS that third-party candidates almost NEVER win the important positions. Ever. It's always been a Democrat or Republican in officer since 1869 (and VERY unlikely to change as things are), and there has always been a Democratic or Republican majority in the Senate or House.

To be honest, I voted for Trump (and it was still a tough decision that came down to who had more ideas that I agreed with, primarily in the case of voting rights (which I feel should stay in the hands of those with legitimate U.S. citizenship, regardless of ethnicity or color)), but I expected that Hillary was going to win anyway (considering how sure the media and electoral analysts were), regardless of how the votes in my area went. So I was as surprised as everyone else when Trump got majority, despite Hillary having a huge advantage in financial campaign power and popularity (though in the end, it's the Electoral College's votes that hold any significant value, so it can be assumed that a large portion of Hillary supporters were in the states with lower electoral votes). Still doesn't mean I feel different about how neither can possibly make America's current situation any better. I felt that both of them could only serve to make things worse (one was accused of sending confidential information through private e-mail servers (with one or two sites claiming that she tried to "erase the evidence"), and the other's easily triggered by Saturday Night Live, of all things, who have been making fun of (and influencing) presidential campaigns ever since they went on-air), so I believed that it would ultimately come to down to who America as a whole felt would screw them over less.

Though to be fair, one member of my family only voted for Trump because of Mike Pence, his vice president (who seem to rarely ever be considered when it comes to presidential elections, despite the fact that 1) they're almost as much an important part of the U.S. government as the president him/herself, and 2) they're the ones who take over should something unfortunate happen to the president).

I'm not part of his guild, but honestly, I don't think most of the members of his guild are there for any reason but to be provided with whatever they want. As long as that's satisfied, they don't care who the leader is or what his or her views are, or the views of their other members (Believe me. I've seen this. Not all of us hold a guild leader to some political standings. Or moral ones either, unfortunately). And concerning the guild leader, Lunar's probably too valuable of a raid (and possibly PvP) asset for the leader to just throw away unless he does something that jeopardizes the guild as a whole.

Also, to add to what I was saying a bit ago, do note that I'm not a primary Democratic or Republican voter. I see myself more as being independent (i.e. my vote can go either way (ex. I voted for Obama last time), or towards a third party if any of them ever have a good chance at winning (translation: I can only ever hope to see that happen, as it's likely never happening within the lifetime of anyone alive today)).
