  • My account got banned because I didnt know I cant buy jellies with EC.




    So I topped up with EC to buy 1000 jellies. I used Paypal. so when I try to buy Jellies it says transaction cannot be completed. I am only buying jellies for me to participate in this event. I had no idea that you cant buy jellies with EC. It doesnt say on the website and the event notes that "Use ET" only. it only says DNP cannot be used. So i called paypal and asked them to hold the payment- Since I am not getting what I payed for. they did. Now my account got banned. Sent a ticket as well.

    It just amazes me that ED doesnt fix this issue and then announces these promotions. I bought EC just for this event because I want to do good in this game. It's unfair that I get banned for something that is broken in game and is totally not my fault. what am I supposed to do with that 70k ec on my account?I already have pro pack and I already have VIP. I dont poop rl money so I cannot afford to charged $140 to get ET. so I asked paypal to hold the payment. As a sane person would do. you ask for a refund or you report something that you bought and didnt get what you paid for. in my case. I paid irl money to get those jellies. I wasnt able to get them. Now I am banned and unable to participate in the event. probably not play the game anymore. those countless hours of grinding and money spent will be put to waste all because ED cannot fix their game. And when a player watches out for his own well being, he gets banned. I am asking the GMs who read this to look into this. and hopefully get me unbanned. or just even give me the decency of responding to my post.

    this game is already broken as it is. Now I get banned just because I cant buy jellies. i know I shouldve just waited for ED's response. But I was so frustrated about this issue that I didnt think it through. either way. I deserve an explanation and probably a solution to this.

    one more thing to note. As soon as paypal held the payment. The topped up ec was not in my account any more.

    Well I think it does make sense because u charged EC and held ur payment. No one knows ur going to buy jelly or what, the only thing ED can see on their side is you buught ET and they gave u what u wanted but you're refusing to pay. I'd say this is fair enough even though they didn't mention anything about payment of jelly.

      your logic is completely piece of something, I'm telling what is happening on ED's side, no one cares what he's buying. He can now contact costumer support and explain this mess to ED but at the first place banned him is the only choice ED can do.

    agreed. but completely banning me wont be fair at all. they could look into this and unban me. I didnt spend any of those EC at all.

      Let's be fair here. First and foremost, you didn't have any EC to spend, so "I didn't spend any of those EC at all" doesn't make sense. You attempted to load EC onto your account, but told Paypal to not send payment. Secondly, you violated their terms of service and got banned for it. You signed the terms when you created your account, so there's no room for complaint there.

      Now, will ED be an understanding company and bother to look into your case to give you forgiveness and a second chance? Maybe. But "completely banning me wont be fair at all", in my opinion, is wrong. Good luck and like everyone else, I suggest you explain this in detail and send in a ticket.

    • EYE Cash won’t be refunded in any case. • In case of charge back via 3rd party platform or credit card companies, the related account will be blocked permanently and all DB related to this account will be deleted and never be restored. • EYE Total has no limitation during the purchasing of items. • EYE Credit has limitation as below. 1) Item Protection jellies, APPROVAL Stamps, Adventurer bags, and Extra Storage Slots cannot be purchased with EYE Credit 2) Magnifying Glasses cannot be purchased with EYE Credit until a character has reached level 10. 3) Quick HP gain potion, Quick MP gain potions, Marketplace Passes, and Express Mail Stamps cannot be purchased with EYE Credit until a character has reached level 15. 4) Dragon Eggs cannot be purchase with EYE Credit until a character has reached level 32.

      It's because when you hold a payment/chargeback they have to pay a fee every time that happens. They don't want that being a common thing (like most publishers) so banning is always the consequence. If you want your account back you can offer to send them a check in the mail for the EC you originally purchased and the fee they had to pay.

          Ohh swift on the charge back bans but somehow it takes ED over a month to give people what they paid for? How about using some of those swift problem solving skills on the VeyeP egg/dnp issue ED?

            I admit i made a mistake here. And I am asking ED or any of the GMs to give some consideration into this. Ive been playing this game since 24 cap on SEA. It just now that i decided to spend irl money because I want to survive and exist in this game. This game is far from perfect but I enjoy playing this. I made a mistake and i am almost to a point of begging. Ive spent countless hours on this game. And a mistake i made will put it all to waste. I just hope ED will give me the benefit of the doubt. Those bans are made to ban scammers and abusers of the system. I made a mistake and openly admitted it. I didnt spend any of those EC and didnt even attempt to use it on anything else. All happened in like 30 mins. If i had negative intentions in mind,i would have topped up an alt account. Gifted all those items to my main. But I didn’t. I just hope ED becomes reasonable with their decision on this. And not looking into this and just shoving it out as violation of the rules is to me unfair. Hopefully I get a response to this.

              I think he have learn his lesson can any GM please help him. The population is already suffer from bad choice by ED and this player seem dedicated so why not give him another chance.

                    Well hopefully you can get your account back, since its a misunderstanding.

                    A chargeback is a procedure to forcibly return money if the vendor doesn't deliver, for example a a shady ebay seller. Unfortunately there are also buyers who claim to never gotten the item and chargeback, even if the seller legitimately sent it.

                    chargeback is last resort, after trying everything to get the money refunded. Can only be patient now.
