Silver Hunter

Hello, I have a question to you guys.

Is Silver Hunter any good in awakening? I'm currently at 90 and I feel like I'm doing least dmg out of my party friends.

Dark/hero classes do not get (or at least, have not been given) an awakening, so you're out of luck in that regard. Currently only the vanilla Warrior, Archer and Sorceress have their awakenings with Cleric (vanilla Cleric, i.e. not including the upcoming Arch Heretic) and Academic on the way and rumours of Kali's soon to be released in Korea.

sorry buddy, silver hunter has really bad dps right now. I'm talking bottom tier. If you enjoy playing silver hunter than keep going man. If having high dps is a must for you than you may want to consider playing sniper or warden
Chances of silver hunters getting buffed are really small as well considering no one plays sh and most of the focus is going into awakaning.

Silver hunter is really fun to play though so i'll keep playing regardless of dps stance.

the devs mentioned when awakenings were being concepted that the dark classes will not get an awakening.. but will get a buff to compensate for no awakening as for other archer classes Warden and Tempest are both really strong as the other arches and basicly from the awakenings we have so far other good dps classes are:

Crusader (needs really good funding to be good or else its bad)
Adept
Lunar Knight
Warden
Tempest
Basicly all the sorcs (not sure on sorc power rankings)

however if you really love your class then keep playing it theres no problem with it its not all about classes anymore like it used to be back in the day

as a side note Snipers are ok but not the strongest archer

dark classes did get a buff... a very very very small one :T i fear dark classes will most likely get ignored.

If you're even curious : Sorcs power state are very similar, it became gear dependent. Technically on Mobile bosses it's : Pyro = CM > IW = WM

On immobile bosses : WM = IW > CM = Pyro... But Ice get stack Ice barrier EX buff twice it really change stuff out. Sorcs are so similar it's like trying to debate which Acrobat is the best

I just made a lvl 93 Silver Hunter and yes they do have an awakening (Awakening ACTIVATION, not passive form like the other basic heroes).
What i can say is:
-Yes they do have low DPS compared to other classes and especially their sniper counterpart
-it kind of feels like a rip off since the basic heroes always have access to their awakening skills compared to dark classes that have limited
time form
-Their startup skill speed is pretty below average especially on some of their killer attacks
-I find this character more "fun" to play than actually effective (most people don't agree because they haven't seen her capabilities)
-Awakening form has the ability to let her fly in the air while shooting out combos non stop which makes her a tough target to hit
- Very high skill cap to play like that IMO (I practiced for 3+ hours straight and still struggle with getting it down every time)
- If you watch people on youtube there are some people who can fly in the air for the entire minute while raining down arrows

SH has lower dps than other archer classes. But she has really good attack envionment. My SH can always fly on the air and attack during the mechs. Sometimes I was doing more damage than my pyro friend who has the exactly same gear like me.

I want to add that we have not received these changes yet either (Magical Breeze is still 20%, and we have back/forward input targeting for Cannonade), so at least Artillery (Warden) will be receiving yet another boost in the near future.

yea good point, even with low dps silver hunters can straight ignore a lot of mechanics and focus on dps, somewhat making up for it.

I havnt paid much attention to the dark classes but im pretty sure they will do something for them after all the other awakenings. And no SH does not have an awakening like the others it just transforms ==; it's two different things

I honestly think SH has potential, she is very hard to gear, just as most other magic classes, but her scaling off her int stats is massively high, so as you gear her her damage will grow a lot faster than other classes at the higher end, her passive also give 35% extra dmg in town which is more than any other.
So yeah the class is fun, not exactly easy to master, if you can bear with it and deck out the character I'm sure she will be a force to reckon with.

I'm currently trying out the SH class and it is really fun. Just focus on INT to rack up damage and CRIT.

Stat wise, SH is amazing, borderline Top Tier while transformed, main problem that's holding this class back is the board % to abuse those stat gainz.
*Naturally Light %
*Main stat is INT which increases CRIT DMG
*INT/MDMG steroid in the form of a perm buff
*Has a INT-to-MDMG conversion mechanic while transformed, which becomes even more insane with Genesis Acc
*Good class to stack FD on, due to the interactions between FD,Ele and CRIT DMG.

Classes that get the most from stacking either STR or INT as their main stat, compared to either pdmg or mdmg, will definitely have a very high burst potential (Barb/Glad/Drag/LK/SH/Sader/AH). Limitations is obviously board % to abuse that burst.
