For the Tier 2 reward, it says "Gerrant Hero Dragon Egg (Casual)"

Is the "Casual" part of it any different from regular eggs in the vault?

They are the same eggs. If you spend 50.00 EYET you'll receive 400 Gerrant eggs. Unless you want to buy them separately and try your luck early on. That's never advised since the rates are abysmal.
