I planned on using the event to skip ahead to level 80. I wanted to remake my Dark Avenger. Is there a way I can do this?

(I'm not new to the game but I haven't played in a while. Has there been any major changes? I heard about the switch)

When you're choosing a character to create, look to the bottom left.

It says something like Chronicle Character or Chrono Character, just click that.
