DNP question

Do dragon nest points disappear at the end of an event period or something? I had a whole lot the other day, but now I don't have any.

All claimed dnp resets at the start of a new patch(every month). So if you do not want to lose dnp dont use more coupons than is needed as the coupons carry over to the next patch without being taken away.
