i care not for whatever you're trying to preach, but rather sick of these threads. they're annoying, fruitless, and are done by pseudo-intellectual trolls or actual trolls (hi dom).
whatever this thread is is just trying to pry whatever ideals you have of this developer and game down their throats rather than letting people come to their own conclusions. admittedly this game direction has gone to shit, but as a game as of now it's still very fun to me. whatever grudge you hold against dragon nest can be truly achieved by just leaving anything affiliated with dragon nest, inclusive of its community. those silent leavers are the ones that have caused the true decline of dragon nest. those people who never come back are the ones that live to see dragon nest die... then there's you, ones who claim the game, community, developers,etc are bad yet actively engage in discussion and probably the game itself.
there's no need to question your motives because there's nothing constructive with this thread and has reached its own conclusion, but at this point it's to feed your superiority complex when you claim you have transcended beyond this community but you're just another preacher in the long line of people who should have left a long time ago.

Okay, I'm just going to say that I agree that the game isn't really going in a direction I like. Thing is: I don't make a really huge deal about it, mostly because 1) I've come to accept that many MMOs today will take these kinds of turns eventually, and all that matters is how long it takes to get there, and 2) Dragon Nest isn't the center of my life. There are other things in life that I prioritize, and other games out there that I can play whenever I don't feel like getting on an MMO (Monster Hunter being one fun example). I still play Dragon Nest whenever I feel like running a nest or two, but I've generally been putting my focus towards other games whenever I have time to spare.
Furthermore, I'm not trying to discredit your views or anything, but as I hinted at before, these kinds of threads pretty much pop up every week. I mean, we know WHY they pop up, but it doesn't change the fact that they've pretty much become somewhat like stale memes. They don't really carry a message that hasn't already been delivered hundreds of time before (the only difference between them being HOW they're delivered), and I wouldn't even be surprised if one or two vets decide to invent drinking games for them. Or make silly bets that they regret later. But overall, the forum is over-saturated with these kinds of topics (rather than people trying to keep complaints in one or two topics) and they've pretty much lost their impact and value. Heck, by this point, they're pretty much food for the trolls of this forum.
Edit: Aaron pretty much hit it on the nail, though. Some of the people that have the greatest impact towards an MMO's end aren't those who make a huge announcement that they're quitting so that everyone sees them, but rather those who say nothing and disappear without warning, never to return again. I know I was one of those people for a different MMO, and that MMO was pretty much dead long before they finally shut it down, and I rarely leave a game for good before I've completed it (most of the time, I just step away from a game for a while and come back when I feel like playing again).Last edited by BowieSage; 04-28-2017, 05:44 PM.Comment
