Thanks ED for getting rid of apple farming abuse

getting rid of apple farming hurts us. people who apple farms are generating gold, and they spend the gold buying items (aka gold flows to everyone even if u dont apple farm) and directly push up item price. it benefits YOU even if u dont apple farm.
when apple farming is gone, people have less gold to spend, and they will hesitate/refuse to buy stuffs, and ultimately causes price of everything to drop.

if ed wants to fix na's gold problem, they need to give us another way of generating gold. getting rid of apple farming doesnt fix na's gold problem at all, it makes it worse.

This, basically. Think of all the guild donations and the guild buffs and priveleges. Where does everyone think the gold came from? Basically a lot of farmers donating a lot of gold. With gold being hard to make, aint happening no more. I wonder how much the OP donated to his guild.

No, actually it states that they will be classified as [Old], so they will still have the current selling price of 31g . But a lot of farmers I know(I dont farm) will still avail of this. Just buy a shitton of the old apple seeds before the 95 cap update.

[Golden Apple] and [Apple of Life] will be changed. Seeds and harvested items acquired prior to this patch will be changed to [Old] items and will no longer be obtainable. Seed prices will be adjusted.

New Golden Apples and Apples of Life seeds can be purchased at the farm shop using dungeon and nest points. They cannot be server storaged. The selling price of these crops have been increased

Yeah, lets all find players to 'fund' us 200k gold and never return the gold or hack craft 10 fd plates. Or steal genesis rings. Or get 2000 eggs gifted to us.

You actually have to grind nests on capped chars now to make enough nest points to buy apple seeds. I'm guessing 100 gold (without golden goose) is probably incentive enough to do enough content on enough alts. But players making 40-50k g a week now ? Im guessing that wont be happening anymore.

Seeds arent server storageable even. Meaning you can't mail them to alts, or put them in guild storage othen than each char's private inventory. Basically you can only farm on capped chars. And they are fairly expensive. (5000 nest points for apple of life seed?)

If this is true, then this is a blessing, if old seeds still work, all you have to do is hoard a bunch before we ever get this patch. And iirc we're soo far behind KR. Apple farmers gain way more than they lose from this, if they're smart about it. Thanks ED

welp if thats true.. it will be time for me to quit.. as a casual player.. I used this method to get some money.. u know Life with 2 kids doesnt let me time to endlessly farm dungeon like most of the kids playing :P
