Chronicle Character Storage slots

I recently made a Black Mara chronicle character and cleared the tutorial area to reach lv 80. The rewards I received at the end included two adventure's bag 30 inventory slot expansion but no storage slot expansions. Is this as intended for the chronicle characters?

There is difference between rewards you can receive by leveling normal and chronicle character.
