Is game worth coming back to?

Is it worth coming back to the game with 0 gold to your name or is game too p2w at this point that you couldn't catch up f2p wise?

depends on how deep you want to get into it. if you want to be pretty casual in gearing, but try out a lot of the game (such as nests and the normal raid), its decent. I came back from a break between May til like a week ago, and decided I wanted to start out on an alt with almost no gear. getting 95 gear isnt too tough, nor is enhancing, but thats pretty much the limit. Volcano nest normal, Rune dragon 4 man, ice dragon normal, those kind of things are possible.

you wont be able to do all content, especially not on harder content without people carrying you or a party full of exp and skilled ppl, nor will you be able to do anything quickly. most geared people wont party with you either, so thats another thing. if you planned on doing raids and gearing up as far as you can go, you wont get too far without an epic set costume/good cash accessories or large amounts of gold...

u wont be able to do hc raid but u can do everything else

more nest runs plus u can upgrade easier means u can get a bit stronger almost everyday

plus they will make it easier to get gold with new gold goblin stage and they got more daily contents on the way

The game definitively feels better, unlike last cap where I basically had nothing to do until RuDN got out (because IDN-U was that strong and the only upgrade was RuDN-U... or L-grades), this time I already have to upgrade my RuDN to lvl 95 unique.

So yeah, I actually have a reason to play the game and actually have to upgrade my gear instead to wait half the cap

Hey, welcome back!

I would say that a majority of the games out there, one who is P2W will have an advantage over those who are F2P, to the point where you would have to work harder to catch up.
That's just how games are these days, but it all depends on what you are specifically trying to catch up to...

Are you trying to be able to clear everything? Or just join in the majority?

Currently if you come back, with about a week or so of gearing you should be able to clear all the content in the game with the exception of the current hardcore raid if you know what you are doing.
NA is a lot better off than it was in the past, you get 3 Volcano Nest hardcore passes per day and you can use that among with other methods to obtain quite a hefty amount of gold daily.
