@Op I didn't even realize the first part of the post said not to debate whether someone is good, so I'm sorry.

Abzol and Revisal are both VERY well known acros and if you don't know that they're good, you must be new to this game. I stood a much better chance against both of them than against Arwen when I fought them all back-to-back, so you can debate whether or not he's good when you fight him on his own class.

I wasn't being egotistic anywhere in any of my posts. I was being positive and shouting out people that impressed me, and then someone ELSE shoved their cancerous, egotistic attitude in this post. I'm not a guy, and most people who aren't new to this game already know that. I've been pretty active on the forums and social in the game for years.

Can't speak for all mercs, but barb specifically has an abysmal matchup against Acros.

Barb goal is to eat AE's and dodges so that they can get their absurd damage in, hence most of their moves are gracious AoE moves.

Acro has a grand amount of mobility to counter mercs approach though, so merc has to eat several evades, while acro has to eat AE. Brush off has no dodging utility because its stationary and you get relaunched after using it, and crisis works like borderline never except in Merc Mirror Matches.

If you lose to a barb or any merc class in general as an Acro, you just fucked up and don't know how to use your evades.

EDIT : Also if you're going to use drunken state as a reason to be a shit and an excuse, piss of though man. Half the time I'm hammered AF you don't see me using it as an excuse for me ego.

Lol I just wanna add on to the whole merc vs acro thing. I believe Acro can counter merc in most ways. Merc is flexible, but only has 1 AE and a glitchy counter to back it up. Acro > Merc. The real question of the day is, which is better for 1v1, Acrobat or Shinobi? Seems like a tough choice.

Learn ya class matchups, acro counters merc hard af. It's just that no NA acro has the capability to use their class (except maybe 3 of them) to it's fullest extent. If you seriously think having; instant cast eagle dive break every merc skill, 3 evades, insane speed and easy lifts makes it easy for a merc to kill you, then it's your fault!

Oh and saying how whirlwind melts HP, merc has lost so much utility that if you're eating a full whirlwind on acro, with no setup, then you're simply shit. Use your power tumble, learn how to read when the whirlwind is coming and break it's SA. I think Blooming kick breaks every merc skill aswell and has enough SA to tank a few hits of whirlwind before breaking it. But apart from whirlwind, pray tell how merc counters acro (apart from whirlwind)

(p.s. I doubt you're drunk, you're probably going to use that as an excuse tomorrow as to why you have no PvP knowledge at all.)

Whirlwind does 30% of an acro's hp without any setup necessary, and you think it's hard to play against acro? Yea, you're full of shet. Furious winds doesn't even do half of that to a merc and that DOES require setup to get a decent amount of dmg off of it. It doesn't even break SA; it paralyzes you, barely. You guys are so stupid if you think merc is hard to play against acro. Seriously, PLEASE make an acro and prove me wrong. I dare you. I bet 2k gold, right now, that you can't beat Arwenjr as an acro. That's how confident I am that you would suck as an acro. You don't get to decide who's good at it until you try it.
