Verification failed?

I see most people talking about not receiving verification emails and others talking about resetting their passwords, but no one seems to have this issue from what I've seen..

I got the verification email but every time I try to accept it, it says "Verification Failed" and I'm not sure why. I know the account is my transfer email since I'm able to log into it, though I did have to do a password reset first because I couldn't login in with what I thought was my password I had saved. Can anyone help with this..?

I think the verification fail is because your not using the latest link. They provided. Or probably .. they stop the verification process is general. Just a thought.
