Launcher Stuck at Checking

My launcher repeatedly gets stuck at checking. I'll reinstall the game and everything will be fine but the next time I try to play after the okay session, it goes back into the same bug. My log as follows...

Try this, taken from Vahr:
This version only works for North America. Installation: Extract the contents of the ZIP file into your game directory. Usage: Double click dv-athena-quicklaunch.exe. Game will launch. Please note that when patch time rolls around, you'll need to get your game patched by the official launcher. And if this refuses to launch your game, then Goddess save you.
