In regards to Adepts, in regards to their awakening skill "Elemental Mastery", does it imply I would only need to stack either fire or nice and not both? It implies that the other element will match the one that's one that's highest. Is that actually the case?

I'm prob gana get ice beam crest skill up next month instead of double g0 since I already have tech for g0, but I definitely still want to tech G0. +1 of each may be better.IGN: Serqet (Adept)

For Skill Up Crest get either MM or Ice Beam, the top DPS skills usually fluctuate between Ice Beam, MM, Ice Hand with Flare usually being number 1 (at least for my playstyle)
And for tech I honestly believe Ice Beam is better than G0 now since my Ice Beam always seem to out dmg G0 due to the fact that most of the dmg from G0 are from the lingering part and not very reliable. However it shouldn't be a big deal so don't invest too much to switch tech.

Yeah, no point to switch tech, I'm pretty sure the difference, if there is any is almost insignificant. Plus having g0 tech is really good and I wouldn't not want one unless I have end game accessories like gen necklace (esp for ladder :P). I'm going to skill up crest Ice Beam later then I'll have volcano punch (wep tech), magma, g0, and ice beam all teched for maximizing DPS.

Updated a previous post, copy-pasting it here as well
I forgot to post, but here's another variation of my other build (so far I'm liking it better). The main difference between this and my previous build is that I reduced Twirl from 11 to 1 and got Chemical Cavorter. This reduces Toxic Twirl DPS, but that was already very trivial. The extra bubble generation from this allows you to get your main skills off quicker so they don't sit on cooldown for extended periods of time. It also makes it easier to get Slime Surge off, as well as buff before a fight.

I feel like slime is just a waste of Adept DPS as the bubble usage is too high, and sometimes the AI is stupid and ice stacks before the boss spawns (this happens pre-boss fight/pre-summon (not USUALLY during battle)).
I'm pretty sure your typical rotation with 20 bubbles goes like this:
Edit: Summon -> Magma / ice punch -> Ice Beam Instant -> Ground Zero -> Magma Wall -> Frost Fangs -> Magma Punch (end of 5 second ice stacks) -> Ice Punch -> Elemental Flair -> Volcano Jump (stupid af kickback of skill) -> Magma Punch -> Ice Punch -> Ice Beam Instant -> G0 -> Wall -> Coolant -> Slop -> Summon -> Punch Again / etc.
Also, with an IW in the party your slime is a complete waste of SP. In reality taking an IW + Adept is a DPS class would be more reliable thing to do.Also certain parts in dungeons can de-activate slime making you have to cast it more often (eg: 2nd Boss IDN Absorbing DMG / Any Green Mech).
Slime is great and you can almost infinite ice stack with it at times, but managing the slime itself seems to drop your DPS by a significant amount.
I would also like to add that the slime does NOT have a 100% ice stack rate, I'm pretty sure it's 40%, maybe 50%.
I don't know if this will be the case when we get +10 bubbles, but the fact that bubble management is harder in a way now, makes me question picking it up.
I've seen many KDN vids of adept not having it in their builds and rotating their skills so smoothly.
I could be wrong here, but I need more opinions/research.
Side Note: Crit seems to be extremely important on adepts, especially after the 7% loss from slme shake, most of our skills rely on that 1 HIT burst of damage and so not proccing it on the initial hit of g0 and final hit on flare seems to drop DPS by huge amounts. Even with 64% crit G0 crit 1/5 times on TKN Norm, you can call it bad luck but that's how RNG works.
So, my point is, crit is more important on adept so the more the merrier. Gen ring and IDN Ls do wonders for crit. Prob 30% crit gain from just IDN L weps +1 gen ring.
I have Plat 1 Title atm + crit tech on magma wall + idn L boots giving me probably around 15% free crit.

If you're wondering what would be better, then, instead of slime, I'd say throwing your points into even coolant is better since the CD isn't shared with cocktail and sometimes you don't get it off just for the fact that slime may be hard to throw out during your skill rotations

Slime is difficult to get off, but that changes if you take the Physician passive. However, the alternatives aren't amazing -- Toxic Twirl and Poison Pop both appear near the bottom of DPS meter with trivial %s even when maxed. For me, this was a difference of 1.5-2%. So, my rationale for taking Slime is to improve party DPS in IDN, where it'd outweigh the small solo DPS loss.
With an IW, yes, Slime wouldn't be ideal. In IDN, it'd depend on your team comp.
You are right about the crit changes (Archer buff changes affect this too). IDN L and Genesis (mostly IDN L) are the way to go to keep up with crit. Crit 3rds are also available as an option for those who cannot afford IDN L or Genesis.
About the video: I'd argue that Slime's sole purpose is for IDN (so you'd be having a more raid-focused build by having Slime). In those nests where bosses can get bursted down so easily, I believe you wouldn't have the time, nor the sheer number of people you'd have in an 8-man raid to benefit from the Slime. So yeah, in those cases, it wouldn't be idealLast edited by MomoeNagisa; 01-07-2017, 12:33 PM.

Either way I may go with the build above you recently posted. It's true, there isn't much you can put leftover SP in.
>Put it into coolant and you gain dmg on coolant, but it's usually detonated prematurely anyway so I don't see much of a point.
>Put it into toxic twirl and it's a great mob clearer outside any content that actually matters, so it's pointless. Like you said, dmg isn't worth the SP.
>Put it into poison pop but it still doesn't do enough damage for the bubble usage required to cast it, if our poison attack was 70%+ it would be great.
So even if I don't use it as much or at all I may keep it in my build for pre boss casts or filler casts. As for using it for IDN to benefit the entire party, as long as you're not using it instead of focusing on your own DPS as an ADEPT (after ice beam 5seconds are over) it's definitely arguable that your DPS loss would be more beneficial for the party.
However, just keep in mind, again, using it during your own rotations and/or using it and the ice stack not proccing is a big loss of DPS for your party. Adept can dish out tons now with decent dps windows.
UPDATE: I went with coolant last 10 SP since coolant has a much shorter cooldown than super slop cocktail. Slime just isn't worth it.Last edited by GoodRiddance; 01-17-2017, 09:01 PM.
