Unbelievable levels of incompetence

So...is there any actual evidence that restricting access to other users from outside NA would benefit NA players? I fail to see anything that would help. The server is dead with very few committed players. Why would they ever think restricting other users would help? How about fixing all the M:IDs, making sure we get events when we're supposed to actually get them, bug fixes, and not banning innocent players? That didn't cross their minds at all?
