no thx, this is too much. what we need is more small ways to generate gold that arent dungeons.

Petition ( Lower L Grade Enhance Cost To Match Our Economy )

We need to bring back the old PWR system and increase gold in nests, dungeons and raids. Right now you get chump change in nests and dungeons and have to rely on the price of materials to make your dough. If mats turn to shit, the nest/raids turn to shit. Even in dungeons, a fair portion of raw gold gained is spent on repairing equipment, and unless you're in a guild with durability aura, its gonna be a fat 30-40% of your gold gain. Yes old PWR system means reintroducing farming bots, but that also allows legit players to farm dungeons indefinitely. The current PWR system basically kills an aspect of MMORPG that is indefinite grinding. What this game lacks is a consistent money maker, you can only grind dungeons for so long before you have to rely on RNG (4 chest) to make the bulk of your gold per dungeon.
An example I can compare this to is a game called Runescape. In 2007, they introduced trade limits to combat bots. Both parties had to exchange equal value in cash or items, with a small margin of error. And the small margin of error could not be abused indefinitely since you could only reach that margin every 15 minutes. Eg, if the margin of error was 10000 gold (not alot in Runescape), you could only do trades with an imbalance of 10k from one party every 15 minutes. This was able to significantly reduce RWT in the game, but in exchange not only did it kill 50% of the player base, but it also killed an aspect of MMORPG that is trading. It meant not being able to give people free stuff, or bargain for any items.
If PWR system kills the economy by limiting grinding, then trade limit killed the player base for limiting free trade.
Also bring back variety, over the years the games gotten simpler. Starting from 50 cap, where they turned all lustres into Altheum, over the caps they reduced the amount of materials to craft epic nest sets, 90 cap you can get a whole epic piece in a nest, now you can get epic pieces in dungeons. 90 cap they got rid of Onyx, now you either use garnet or altheums to craft crests in place of onyx. When you narrow down the gearing process by simpifying things, you
1. Have less variety of materials that can be used for more functions.
2. Make the materials faster to obtain because there are fewer varieties of materials. Eg; Garnet is used for enhancing and crafting. Before you needed to have altheums, onyx and diamonds to craft. And even before that you needed the correct lustre to enhance/craft the gear for your class.
This is why the current PWR system sucks dick, if someone wants to grind 10 hours in a dungeon, let them. Don't limit that even if it limits gold farming on bots, because it affects us too.Last edited by Ice Poseidon Waiting room; 10-12-2016, 06:07 AM.

problem is how to generate gold, not the enhancing cost (focusing on genesis accs is also a big gold lose as of rn). i love working for my stuff and its wouldnt benifit other servers anyways.
ppl that been staying longer should know how to generate gold by then tbh

I'm not against raising the gold per dungeons but I don't see anyone in any major agreement on a certain amount that won't end up ruining the economy even further. Also I kinda worry IF dungeons gave too much gold, it will only encourage more gold bots. At least if enhance rates were lowered (maybe not the whole 50% but a smaller amount like 10%) then it would at least help players in possibly a simpler way. Overall however I don't actually think either ideas will get very far. It mainly matters if the devs even care to do anything.

enhancing gear and especially L grades in this game is too luck based. u can work hard for your gold but you wont know where you'll end up. someone can spend much less getting +12 while someone else can end up spending significantly more. during the enhancing event one of my friends spent 24k trying to enhance their gear just to end up where they started. all that "hard work" went down the drain in a few clicks. whats the point of working hard in this game if you have to rely on luck in the end?
other mmos like blade and soul (which is more succesful in KR) just require you to get enough materials to get the next upgrade. not this rng junk.
if there was a fixed cost to enhancing it wouldn't be that bad since you would know how hard you have to work to get the upgrade.Last edited by milktoast22; 10-12-2016, 08:30 AM.

you should just quit the game if you can't get enough gold for l-grades and complain. L-grades aren't meant to be gotten in 1 day. they are only for the hardcore elite casual players in this game.
it's so easy to get gold.memes. gold buying? triggered. gold injection? triggered. gold seller? triggered. make gold the legit way.

Fake Pounding's got a point. L-grades aren't really supposed to be easily obtained by the majority of casuals on the server. The sad thing is: every casual is wanting L-grades, even when they KNOW they won't be willing to put in the actual effort needed, and they prefer to be carried through the process (i.e. having an overgeared team carry them through HC raids for L-grades (regardless of the amount they would have to spend to be carried), being handed free gold they never earned, etc). Most other MMOs (and even non-MMOs such as Monster Hunter) require you to put in some form of effort to get the kind of gear you want, and that includes saving up gold. This often means you'll have to settle for building weaker gear first (in DN's case, Epics or Uniques), and then attempting to build towards endgame gear once you have decent-enough stats and/or a proper team.
tl;dr: You try to skip the work regular vets do for L-grades, be ready to enjoy your financial crisis.

i do agree they are good money making to sell, but for the ones that are making them the cost of each rings is 32k, which is a lot considering our low economy. thats without saying the amount of time you spend for the light and shadows cubes which could have been put instead into zp grinding since its still here.
just my unpopular opinion tbh.

The way some of you are looking at this I almost wonder if there should instead be a petition to double/triple prices. Game too easy. P:
I don't care either way as no one will ever agree on anything. I just like trying to see it from both sides.. which I guess both have good points. Probably why (what I was getting at earlier is) nothing will actually change in the end.

Of course, that would imply that having such RNG is bad too, but imagine how much it takes for the entire server to even generate 50k raw gold in the first place. That's an astronomical amount to be sunk out of the economy by NA's standards.
The way I see it, the people suggesting to lower the cost of L grades aren't thinking of themselves most of all. It's for the health of the entire economy. I'm sure most people here would rather see the economy shift towards making gold by farming items and playing the market instead of farming raw gold through NPCing apples on alts and spamming the same dungeons for raw gold for hours on end. That's behavior that simply doesn't exist in most other servers - and that is quite frankly going to be the reason why NA will remain in such a state until the developers actually care to look over to see what's happening to us.Last edited by SaitoHikari; 10-12-2016, 08:16 PM.

most other servers easily enhance +12 because they have so much gold all around so it doesnt really apply that l-grades arent meant to be maxed out in "1 day" or whatever short period of time you name. people there have enough gold to blow to go for +13 or 14. there is no defined time period by the game or developers where you're meant to have +12 L grades.
why should it be different for NA?
