So.. I was expecting to retrieve a new DNP coupon after patch but they seem to forgot to send it? I just want clarification on what happened, if it was a mistake, or that the free daily DNP coupon event has ended. I tried to check the news section but so far I haven't found any info on it, or word from EYE. I will be honest one of the reason I moved from sea to na is because of the free 500 DNP, and I still haven't got enough DNP to buy something decent for my character. If is has truly ended (bad move from EYE by not informing us before), I may have to go back to sea. I honestly liked this server, especially the ping, since I play with +300ms in sea which was really irratiting me. Meh oh well. Thoughts?

Its given out at 3 AM EST/midnight PST for the day. If u got it before the maintenance, then you have already gotten it for the day and have to wait tomorrow for the next one.

I was online around that time when it was supposed to have been given out, and received nothing. A guildmate of mine just confirmed he didn't receive a coupon either.

I can't tell if we didn't receive coupons by accident or on purpose. If anyone has any information, I'd love to know what the hell is going on with that.

That's worrying. Hope we get some sort of notice from EYE about this. I mean I'd rather they admit it was a mistake but still give out daily 500 dnp, rather than ending event without any notice.

I wouldn't be too surprised if they removed it... the description always read that they were free tidbits to celebrate the "rebirth of dragon nest", and that we should enjoy them before they're gone. Maybe it's possible the whole rebirth phase is over and the petals went with them. Hopefully not, though. I thought they were great for people who couldn't just spend real life money on vault items. Irine's daily gift still provides the 500 DNP if you can afford the V.eye.P pass.

Personally, I'm not so much bothered but confused by the rationale behind the removal of the coupons.

It's less than 50 cents (USD) in cash shop credit per day, per account. It has no major impact on their bottom line, why take that away?

It's awesome for attracting players and keeping players. Hell, I was trying to save for a costume (using the coupons), but planned to buy a second one (with RL money) with it. Think of a "Buy one, get one" kind of deal that we see in real life.

Now I'm just sitting here like "Okay, that plan is scrapped. Now what?"

It will also teach users not to rely on free handouts to get the same items users get by paying for it. Can't think of a game that hands out a $15 allowance per month for cash-currency items. It was nice while it lasted though. I got mine at 12AM PST today though.

The amount of negativity that flows when ED screws up one thing is hilarious. One would almost think theyre constantly refreshing waiting for the next thing to complain about so they can moan over it. This is a F2P game people, lest that fact be washed over of course there's bugs. Yall expecting way too much.

That said, this is one thing that should stay in the game. While unheard of, it gives everyone a chance to get those cash shop items for their character and encourages continue to play. It be a shame but considering how much they gave, can't be too mad over it.

I don't believe we received a dnp coupon on the day of our Nov. update either. So just wait at least one day before getting hysterical. Now if they did decide to end it with this update, then we're just gonna have to get over it.

Hope your right and maybe we are jumping to conclusions too fast. But either way if EYE really decided to end DNP event after patch would it be to much to ask from EYE to noticy us first? just saying.
