ok so just wondering....the other "dark" class's received a big event when they arrived .... i do not exactly see that happening with this one . any one care to explain?

The maintenance which brings the dark cleric class to NA isn't for another 4 days. And they usually post information about events relating to patch stuff along with the patch notes.
In other words, if there is an event for the new cleric class, it'll likely be posted with the patch notes on Wednesday or Thursday.
