Which class would be best for me?

Hey, I just started playing and I want to figure out which class would suit me best. Not looking for strong classes, just something I would enjoy.

1. In other MMOs, I love playing as classes that deal high burst damage. If it doesn't kill things quickly I won't like it. Preferably not something that's really slow and predictable.

2. Since I like 1v1 PvP a lot, I would prefer a class that can sustain themselves in combat, but since DN is pretty skill based I might not need it if I get better at the game.

3. Preferably a male character. But list female classes anyway if you think they're good, it's not a requirement.

4. Lag friendly. I live in Australia, 250 ping. The classes I've tried so far feel really fluid and responsive but I feel that will change at higher levels...

good burst + male + OP in pvp

there's not really a true "burst" class IMO, skill CD's are low enough for all classes that you're constantly casting damage spells, inquis focuses around setting up high damage spells with your debuffs and buffs

Gladiator. Is great in pvp (but has a much higher skill floor than most other classes), has the best burst skill in the game (coup can go over 60000% board damage) and is a great dps even without coup. Sounds like the class you're looking for.

Gladiator. Here is a video of a gladiator from australia and my friend. You can notice the delayed hits as they switch scenes. I highly, highly, recommend playing gladiator if you are stuck with high ping.

PvP is not skilled based anymore every since a couple caps ago so don't feel forward to going into 1v1 thinking you're going to have a fair chance against everyone in fact half the classes in the game have something broken/ OP about them more-so than other games. If you dont want to rage quit during your experience pvping play a crusader/inqusitor as they can handle themselves throughout all of the OP broken stuff in the game more-so than other classes can. btw if you're going into this game for the pvp/skill its long gone and i suggest you look elsewhere as this is more of a CLASS-based game even in the PvE side of things.

You are so consistently buttmad that you just suck at the game it astounds me.

Back to OP, I would suggest gladiator because its pretty straightforward and one of the easier classes to compensate lag with, as it comes naturally over time and practice. Since you're an aussie good luck lol, the lag can get wild.

You're probably going to get pretty frustrated from the ping tbh (I wouldn't take pvp too seriously if you lag a lot or you'll just start hating it)
Another option aside from gladiator though are pyromancers. Very very high damage, but less mobility than gladiators. I find sorcs easier to pick up though. (though they are female)

Inquisitors are also good but somewhat slow compared to gladiator and pyromancer.
