4) Taking (#2) into account, this list is based off my personal experience with a lot of the people on this list, where i met them in game or where i saw them a lot of the time (i.e. in chill rooms, abusing respawn etc etc), combined with kill score compared to the rank and Arena EXP. Taking all these into account, i made this list. If you think you have been falsely placed on this then i will gladly remove you in any future list I may or may not make in this endeavour.
But rather than that, as the original intent of this post, Do you think Arena ranks need to be reset?

The truth is that the "Champion" rank was originally intended to NEVER be reached, so how can you say new players at this point deserve a chance to be Champion? (Everyone wants a chance to be Champion, not just new people ):<)
The goal of the original game was to achieve 2,372,400 EXP for the first colored BLUE RANK. Which multiple players did in 32-40 cap. Reaching this amount today will give all new characters GOLD RANK.
The original Champion rank was 306,924,000. Do the calculations for this now lol...
However, years ago I concluded the impossibility of Champion rank. In fact, the highest exp on NA that actual players reached (BY CHEATING) was just above 14,345,200 (ChampionCAC and iamkmk tinkerers, both were deleted . . . EDIT: iamkmk and ChampionCAC obtained over 2**il arena exp before being deleted) while Slash is the second highest ranked actual player at 9.9mil (still present on ranking boards).
Eventually rankings were changed to allow new players to reach the valuable colored ranks. In a way, your problem was already dealt with years ago to make the impossible possible.
Think of it this way, both the former Champion rank EXP of 300mil and the former blue rank standard of 2mil, is still fairly available for any new players or old players to go after ♥
♥No one has reached the true Champion rank♥
Reading through this again makes me sound negative and harsh D: (BUT I DIDN"T MEAN THAT WAY D:<) because I actually felt how you did a long time ago (wanting more reachable ranks, and a possibility for Champion), and was very happy to see the ranking system change ♥Last edited by Illusie; 10-23-2016, 08:10 PM.

I'll put the TL;DR first. They can have a secondary ranking system that resets every week. It can measure and rank gained from each game mode and give some reward to the different tiers of exp gained or something. A similar thing could be lower exp gain in FFA rooms or they can implement something where a kill id needed every ___ minutes or else less or no exp will be given at the end of the game.
It's a system that won't erase the time and effort by those who have earned higher ranks but it'll reward the people who are active in the arena. There are a lot of different variations of this like resetting blue ranks and above every week etc but what I put in the TL;DR is what I'd prefer. As for me, I don't care if ranks are reset, and I don't mind chill rooms. Honestly I think chill rooms are good places to socialize and make friends in the game. But I'd like hard work to be rewarded and in my personal opinion, I don't think standing in chill rooms is hard work. I think a system like this will be beneficial to new and old players and it'll motivate people to actively pvp in the arena.
That wasn't actually that long oops. But any thoughts about this? Suggestions? "That's an awful idea get off forums"?

And just a note since i can't be bothered to address them all, I know PvP ranks mean nothing at the moment... That's the problem don't you think? The fact that the ranking system is so trivial and is commonly accepted as "meaningless" isn't a good sign.Learn to combo, not just spam whirlwind like the shame of the class you are.
