I have a problem in choosing tiltes. I'm using Teary-eyed and got a Sharing Goddess Grief last night.

Teary-eyed stats
780k pAttack
3.8m HP
FD 7280
104.40% Dark attack

SSG stats
750k pAttack
4m HP
7300+FD not sure
113%Dark attack

Can you guide me which title is better to use. Btw, my char is an Abyss Walker. Didn't used any buffs or self buffs in the stats provided.

Teary Damage Output =....................................... 780,000 * 1.044 = 814,320

Sharing Goddess Grief Damage Output =........... 750,000 * 1.13 = 847,500


So if i understand how elemental multipiers works correctly,, then the Sharing Goddess Grief gives more damage output than Teary

What about Teardrop title? Teardrop > SSG?

AW has a 20% dark ele buff. You might wanna use that self buff to get a better value. You need not count the self buff for the atk % because that is a skill modifier and does not work in place with gear calculations like the one you are trying to do. Ele does however, so the calculation is valid.

The calculation above is also wrong. The correct calculation, including the 30% buff:


Teary Damage Output = 780,000 * (1 + 1.044 + 0.2) = 780,000 * 2.244 = 1,750,320

Sharing Goddess Grief Damage Output = 750,000 * (1 + 1.13 + 0.2) = 750,000 * 2.33 = 1,747,500

As you can see, they are closer than expected; their difference in output being 0.01% ONLY. Despite SGG most higher values due to it being a Legend grade title, the diminishing return is too high to give it a better output.

Where do you get the first 1 from ( 1 + 1.13 +0.3) ?????

and why is the difference 0.3 when the actual difference is only 0.086??

2.43 - 2.344 = 0.0086

Teardrop is the best for most, mainly due to those benefits of extra stats. The calculation above was based on the stats given by TS, with the respective atk and ele for each title. I did not take into consideration for the FD; I'll do a following calculation including FD in awhile.
I have explained why it is necessary to add a 1 infront, read my first comment.

As for the 0.01%, Teardrop title effective attack / SGG title effective attack
= 1.0016

Which means that Teardrop stats are 1.0016 better than SGG stats.

Please do. I'm a bit stressed in choosing what to use. 30k pAttack for me is a huge deal.

Teary-Eyed: 780,000 * 2.244 * 1.7429 = 3,050,632.728
SGG: 750,000 * 2.33 * 1.7587 = 3,073,328.25

Looks like if you include the FD, where SGG has 70 more FD, the SGG has 0.07% more damage than Teardrop. To be honest, you can say these two are the same...

You mean Teary-eyed title? Coz Teardrop(Legend) has more FD over SSG

Anyway, I have updated the calculations. I made a mistake about the AW ele buff. It should be 20% not 30%.
