  • Questions about Party and FTG, for solo players.

Thanks for coming in this thread.

I apologize if you find this question stupid, also if my grammar is bad as well.

    I found about this:

"Your FTG usage decreases when you're in a party"

But, you can make your own party, and then you can go to dungeon alone.

So, this question has been bothering me for a while:

"If you make a party on your own, and go to dungeon alone, will your FTG usage decrease? (Since it says it will when you're in a party)"

If it's a "yes", this kind of logic would help solo players decrease their FTG usage without needing to play with anyone in their party, just alone in a party.
If it's a "no", this would be naturally understandable, but people should reconsider that their FTG usage will ONLY decrease when there is someone in your party, and make a correction in their description.

This logic is fucking with my mind, thanks to the description written in the previous thread (I can't find it's source anymore, but if you find one, please paste the link in the comments, thank you).

Please correct me if I'm wrong in a specific part, thank you.

Any answers are appreciated, thank you very much.

Okay that question took a bit for me to understand.

The gist of it is this by "FTG usage decreases" it means that whenever you're in a party it will decrease the amount of FTG you use each run.

You always use FTG whenever you enter a dungeon party or not.

The decrease is always 10% of the original ftg requirement.

(e.g. if a dungeon requires 150 FTG to enter, if you enter in a party the requirement is deducted by 15 FTG so you only use 135 FTG overall)

Also the decrease wont work if you "just create a party" you need to have at least 1 extra member for the FTG requirement decrease to work.

That I'm not sure atm, I think it depends on amount of party members since on occasion I experience not having the same amount of FTG for some reason when doing DQ's in a party.

(Usual leftover in todays max ftg is 825, but sometimes I get 817 ) I'll have to test these to make sure though.

In the meantime someone might hopefully clarify on the subject

the FTG usage deducts 10% of the maximum FTG you consume each run depending on the number of players (Ex. 3 party members are present including you, thats a total of 4 players, 40% of FTG is deducted per run) that is my estimation, i will try to give conclusion to this as soon as i have formed a party later

the FTG you use decreases when only you're in a "Daily Party" from which affects the amount of FTG you use depending on the number of party members present in a Daily Party, this is to Complete the Daily Quest more efficiently since you have other players to share the workload of killing the mobs and easily defeating the boss of the dungeon stage.

    Remember though:
Regular Party does not decrease the amount of FTG players use regardless of how many players are present in a Regular party and what is the use of forming the party (Ex. Formed a Party for leveling)
Only Daily Quest Party can reduce the amount of FTG used by players regardless of how many players are present in the Daily Quest Party (Ex. i soloed a DQ dungeon run, i only consumed less FTG than i should have, lets say total consumption should be 750, i only consumed 700)

    And also an adding note:
Master Apprenticeship can avoid FTG consumption of the master when an apprentice of his/her is present in a Party, this would be included on the Master-Apprentice Benefit status on your player icon located on the Top Left corner of your screen, the maximum runs it can avoid FTG usage is 20 Runs, after that the Master of the apprentice shall continue to consume FTG until the Master of that said apprentice runs out of FTG and can no longer enter a dungeon.

Huh, I haven't noticed that the deduction only works on Daily Parties, nevertheless thanks for clarifying.especially since I've apparently given out inaccurate information.

i would also like to add a note: Leveling up in a Party decreases EXP gain, this is to say that everytime you kill a boss in a dungeon, Exp is shared through out all party members, if you were to prove it on your own, try running solo in a dungeon, and then compare it when running in a 4man, 3man, 2man party to level up, you will see a big difference, since FTG consumption would still be the same, you are just wasting out the runs you would have gained more exp in solo than joining in a party to level grind.

Also take note that Friend Bonus isn't effective anymore since i do believe have been useless ever since they have revamped the level grinding system in the game, EXP bonus from Friend benefits won't be working as effective as they were from before.
Working...
