GIFT GIVING EVENT I need clarification

in the event says "Gift given to different characters of the same account is also eligible" Lets say I have an A,B,and C characters. IF A gives B a give then A gift C will A get 2 rewards from giving to B and C? if not
if A give B then B give A will that work so both will receives gifts from the event

From the TNC:
Rewards are given CHARACTER basis, and the maximum number is one per char

this may mean that the char sending the gift can only receive the reward once.

meanwhile I believe gift exchanging in the second situation works as it does not contradict any of the terms. Both should get the reward.
