    Crystal Points and Beggar's Boxes
Dedicated to teach players about Crystal Points and Beggar's Boxes

    Introduction

I am Shovels, i am here to share my knowledge regarding as to what is the use of Crystal Points, and what are Beggar's Boxes
This guide will tell you details regarding the use of Crystal Points, methods of obtaining them, Beggar's Boxes unlocking conditions/requirements etc.
The guide is intended for those who haven't learned anything regarding Crystal Points and Beggar's Boxes, this guide only covers related topics and will not be detailing that is not in relation of the subject of this topic.

There are some details that i might miss out while creating this thread, if any players knows of it, please comment and i will add up your recommendation in the process of completing the guide and providing full information for players to understand and help them in the way to improve themselves on playing the game.
    Crystal Points

Crystal Points can be obtained in many different ways, such as Doing Daily Tasks, doing Events whereas there are Crystal Points is rewarded, Opening Beggar's Boxes, and on future updates, converting your magic/rare/epic costumes for crystal points.

Now we shall discuss regarding Crystal Points Usage

    Crystal Points Store

The Crystal Point Store is located on the East part of Saint Haven, beside the Trading House and the Storage dude, Interact with her, and you will find a quest, accept that, read the details and you can earn 100 Crystal Points right off the bat.

    Items

The Items that you can purchase using Crystal Points are listed below:
    • Veteran Hero's Weapon Powerstone
    • Veteran Hero's Armor Powerstone
    • Low Grade Luminous Jade Heart
    • Low Grade Luminous Talisman Essence
    • Abundance Talisman

Image Below lists out the description and icon of the items available and the cost of Crystal Points to purchase them
Click image for larger version Name:	items.jpg Views:	1 Size:	226.3 KB ID:	130082

    What's the Abundance Talisman?
The Abundance Talisman is only "NECESSARY" if you have obtained a GOBLIN GOLD COIN as a reward from the dimensional Bunny (Silver or Gold) on Lvl95 Abyss Dungeons and reward chests after conquering lvl95 Nests such as Heatwave Volcano Nest, Grievous Guardian Nest, and Dark Mist Nest on any difficulty (NORMAL, HARDCORE, HELL)
The Abundance Talisman increases your Gold reward as loot from any monsters by 15% Base, equipping them on the 200% Slot of your Talisman page, you can get as much as 15% more a total of 30%, it will cost you 5 gold and 64 Silver and 94 copper in order to replace a currently equipped talisman on that slot.

Magical Accessory Box and Pandora Box Auto-Opener
Click image for larger version Name:	items 2.jpg Views:	1 Size:	55.1 KB ID:	130083

The Magical Accessory Box is another item available for purchase, considering this is mostly the reason why players hunt for Crystal Points, a piece of accessory you can obtain from the box has a price range of 3,000~20,000 Gold Depending on the type of accessory you have obtained from the Magical Accessory Box, The box can be obtained on LIMIT BREAK NESTS as well, but it has a very small chance of being a reward after you have conquered the LIMIT BREAK NEST or LBN, it consists of all lvl93 Nests (all 4 man lvl93 nests, excluding the 4man nest of Rune Dragon Nest)

Here is a map located inside the Gardern of Time and Space (LEVEL 95) or GTS, the location of the nest is indicated on the image, please take a careful look at it
Click image for larger version Name:	GTS LBN.jpg Views:	1 Size:	178.9 KB ID:	130085

Here is an image of all the details about the accessory
Click image for larger version Name:	accessories.jpg Views:	1 Size:	204.2 KB ID:	130084

    Lvl95 Unique Accessories
As i have browsed the Trading House (Window shopping) i have determined all their prices as of the current month, the prices may change depending on how many are in stock or if they are in demand, please do make your own research of the prices in the future
    • Peaceful Mind Seal [Ring] - Costs 2,999~4,999 gold on TH
    • Hot Passion Seal [Ring] - Costs 11,899~12,499 gold on TH
    • Cold Judgement Seal [Ring] - Costs 11,000~12,500 gold on TH
    • Fury Hanger [Necklace] - Costs 14,999~17,000 gold on TH
    • Determination [Earring] - Costs 20,000~25,000 gold on TH
These Accessories are more powerful the better Champion Dragon jades you equip on your armors, weapons and on accessories you currently equipped with, i suggest hunting for Crystal Points to purchase the Magical Accessory box instead of Spending Gold for these accessories, as they tend to be more useful with a better dragon jade equipped, if you only have epic dragon jades, avoid buying these, and instead stick with the Chiron Accessories you can buy from the Priestess of Darkness npcs located at east and west part of the map (located near the portal to aru andel on the east, and an npc located near the portal to the boundary gates at the west)

The Pandora Auto-Open Box is a type of Cash item that can automatically open your event items or cash items such as Altea Gacha Box, Aisha Gacha Box etc. this is only useful for those who have atleast a hundred of those boxes or more.

    Beggar's Boxes

These Boxes are very important on our method of hunting for Crystal Points, these boxes reward 10,000 Crystal Points when you complete the box requirement.

Each of the box has their own requirements, it varies from completing dungeon runs, or completing a set amount of completion of a nest, and each requires a different type of points to purchase depending on what box you will choose.

Loffy is located on the South-East part of the map on Saint Haven, here is an image
Click image for larger version Name:	loffy location.jpg Views:	1 Size:	157.5 KB ID:	130086

Loffy was once a great pirate, enjoying the adventures hoping to find the One Piec- i mean Treasures! now that he's getting old, it looks like his adventures ends here at Saint Haven, hoping... waiting for someone, like an adventurer to take his place and continue his quest to find the One Piec- i mean the great Treasures of Lagendia!

Here are an image listing the details of requirements, purchase method and the amount of points required.
Click image for larger version Name:	nest.jpg Views:	1 Size:	248.2 KB ID:	130087

Some Beggar's Box requires Alliance Points
Required points such as the Alliance Points to purchase a box would be a troublesome feat, in order to get as much as 10,000 alliance points from each factions, you need a maximum of 167 Magical Gift Badges (the ones you obtain from the Silver Bunny and on Slayer mode) Gifts that are special (Obtained through Adventurer's Treasure Troves/Boxes from the Remote Quest) has more Points given to you whenever you gift them to a particular NPC, and take note, do not buy the gifts from Magician Sanders near the Wonderful Theme Park Portal, they are only worth it if you are building up Friendship on that particular NPC and not focusing on getting points, they only add 20 points each gift you give to the npc, they are not worth the wonderful points, consider saving 5,000 wonderful points to purchase a Beggar's Box

    Lost Treasure Box
there is a box similar to Beggar's Box, which after completion, will give you 2,000 crystal points, these box can be obtained through abyss dungeons as a reward after completing a run, it will be rewarded on the end stage chests, where you will pick a box or 2 if you have an RH or Returned Hero status. The box lasts only for 3 days, and they can only be earned by choosing the golden chest on the end stage rewards. The conditions to open the box is always at Chiron Beach, these boxes can only be found at lvl95 Abyss dungeons, and the Treasure Stage at Wonderful Theme Park, but you can only enter the treasure stage by having Memory Fragments.

There is a box that can be purchased with 800 ladder points, and supposedly the easiest box to complete if you are rather a type of player that plays 6~10 hours of Dragon Nest, but is seems you cannot purchase it such as the Ladder won't reward players with points, the ladder is a 1:1 rank match, each player is rewarded with points each time they defeat their opponent, and the points rewarded is added, each week whenever you play atleast 10 matches, you are rewarded with the points (minimum of 1500) and you can use it as you like, but it is not available right now on our server, it seems that there is a bug existing or they have completely removed of it? i am not sure... but here is an example of how would the box look like if you have purchased it
Click image for larger version Name:	2018010319360657304.jpg Views:	1 Size:	121.6 KB ID:	130088

that would be the look whenever you try opening a box, here is another example.
Click image for larger version Name:	begar box.jpg Views:	1 Size:	72.0 KB ID:	130089

The reward of each box will always be 10,000 crystal points.

[In future updates, they will remove all the current requirements of opening the box and change the points/amount needed to purchase a box, they will change the conditions to unlock the box to "Complete 70 Daily Quests" and the reward will still be 10,000 crystal points, as far as i have known of it from somewhere]

A type of Beggar's Box such as the image indicated above, can only be purchased once a week, but there "is" a way in order to complete a pair or 2 boxes and do 1 task at hand, means less effort, more reward, like hitting 2 birds with 1 stone.

    Beggar's Boxes [Nest]

In order to complete a 12 nest runs on a particular nest, you have to get additional entry tickets, these tickets are available at the Heraldry Scholar Stas NPC located at Saint Haven
Click image for larger version Name:	scholar stas.jpg Views:	1 Size:	74.3 KB ID:	130090

Click image for larger version Name:	Entry Ticket.jpg Views:	1 Size:	188.6 KB ID:	130091

There is a limit on how many tickets you can purchase using the Additional Entry Token that is given on the Daily Task when completing the "Complete 5 Daily Quest" Task, 3 pcs is given each day.
Click image for larger version Name:	dt.jpg Views:	1 Size:	114.7 KB ID:	130092

Or You can purchase it for 300 Apprenticeship points at the "Master-Apprentice Store" just above the option of the additional nest entry ticket store

You can either spend 1 Additional Entry Token, and 50 gold (35 gold if you have golden goose membership [30% purchase discount] )
Or use 6 Additional Entry Token without using gold, this requires a lot of additional entry tokens.
you can only purchase 4 pcs of tickets daily, it resets at 9 am each day.
Click image for larger version Name:	methods of purchase of ticket.jpg Views:	1 Size:	214.8 KB ID:	130093

NOTE: Be sure that your party can handle and complete the nest, after you have exhausted your weekly limit runs on that particular nest, you will need to use additional entry tickets, and after entry on that nest, that ticket is consumed, if the run fails, your ticket is gone for good, 1 single ticket is consumed each entry on the nest so pick a party carefully, if you choose to party up with your friends, and they are all eager to finish the task even if it consumes a lot of your time (considering you are all under-geared and mostly neris gear currently equipped) then it is much better than choosing a public party which often has a noob player who is atleast have better gear than you do, but doesn't know the mechanics of the nest, consider the latter options and party up with your friends.
    DAILY TASK

Completing some of the Daily Tasks rewards you with crystal points
Click image for larger version Name:	daily tasks.jpg Views:	1 Size:	142.5 KB ID:	130094

Doing your Daily Tasks each day gives you 800 Crystal Points (5600 per 7 days, 5700 adding the weekly task)
It is not as efficient as completing Beggar's Box but it's also a good addition on earning Crystal Points

    A VERY USEFUL TIP

The Abundance Talisman is needed only whenever you have obtained a Goblin Gold Coin, the Coin can be used to enter the "Hit the Gold Goblin" Event located inside the Wonderful Theme Park of Saint Haven, you can earn Gold there by Hitting/Killing all the enemies inside the dungeon, each time you kill a Gold Goblin the difficulty or the toughness of enemies increases, you will need better gear in order to increase the kills of gold goblins and that will increase the amount of gold you obtain, and also at your combined skills tab under your skills by pressing letter "K" (default hotkey) on your keyboard, search the skill that gives you 5% more gold loot and equip it on your combined skills slots, and remember, always put your abundance talisman on the 200% slot to experience its full potential! after the goblin gold coin event, try to run dungeons in order to earn more gold and you might get another chance of getting a Goblin Gold Coin.
The abundance talisman expires in 1 day, make full use of it while it lasts.

In order to execute the plan of completing pairs of beggar's boxes (E.g 2 Beggar's Boxes [50 runs on Abandoned Wharf] ) before the server reset (Saturday at 9 am) plan ahead of purchasing a box with enough points, purchase the 1st box of that current week on Friday at anytime before server reset, let's say the box that needs 10,000 Cassius Palace points to purchase, you need a total of
20,000 Cassius Palace points in order to purchase the 1st box of that current week (Friday) and the 2nd box after the reset (Saturday)

All purchased Pair of beggar's boxes counts as a single box when doing their requirements (Ex: you completed 2 hardcore runs on volcano nest, if you check on both of your beggar's boxes, you will have 2 counts of runs on both boxes)

For Beggar's Boxes [Dungeon] you will need to plan carefully before purchasing most of the dungeon box... you will need to determine if you have the time, stamina, enough points to purchase 2 beggar's boxes, and your FTG, because the fatal part of failing the task is you ran out of FTG to run the dungeons, and your box will expire soon!
    • 50 Runs on a Dungeon requires 3,000 FTG (60 FTG * 50 Runs = 3,000)
    • You can Complete a Box (Pair) in 3 days without using your weekly FTG (2 days if you are) [Daily FTG 700 + Like 300 = 1,000]
    • Avoid going to unnecessary dungeons that that does not concern about completing your Beggar's Box [Dungeon]
    • FTG Hotspring Buff is on Tuesdays and Fridays (you can enter 4 times each day | Entry from 00:01~08:59 of Tuesday/Friday = 2 runs, after initialization "9 am" you can re-enter again at that same day for 2 more times, total of 4 entry that equals to 2,000 FTG | Each Entry that is applied lvl 3 of hotspring buff effect = 500 / 2 entry that is applied lvl 3 buff = 1000 / 4 entries = 2,000 FTG)
    • You can complete a beggar's box [Dungeon] on a single day by following my plan described above, (2,000 FTG from either Tuesday/Friday hotspring buff + daily ftg of 700 + 300 ftg from 3 likes)
    • You can use FTG potions if you want to complete the boxes faster, but remember that you can only use 2 FTG potions of any type (300/500 FTG potions) after that you will have to wait for another day
    • You can complete 6 pairs of Beggar's Boxes, both the [Nest] and [Dungeon] ones, you will need a total of:

      14,000 Dungeon Points
      - 2 Beggar's Boxes [Phantom Forest Core] 50 Runs

      20,000 Free Adventurer's Points
      - 2 Beggar's Boxes [Abandoned Wharf] 50 Runs

      50,000 Nightmare Points
      - 2 Beggar's Boxes [Ancient Chiron City] 50 Runs

      10,000 Wonderful Points
      - 2 Beggar's Boxes [Secret Seabed Cave] 50 Runs

      14,000 Nest Points
      - 2 Beggar's Boxes [Grievous Guardian Nest] 12 Runs
(You can gain back the 14,000 Nest points you've used to purchase the 'BB' while completing the requirements to unlock the box)

      20,000 Cassius Palace Points
      - 2 Beggar's Boxes [Heatwave Volcano Nest] 12 Runs
(You can gain back the 14,000 Nest points you've used to purchase the 'BB' while completing the requirements to unlock the box)

All in all, you just need atleast 5 days to complete the Beggar's Boxes [Dungeon] and it requires you 12,000 FTG to complete all 4 pairs of 'BB'

7,000 FTG (Daily + Likes in 7 days)

4,000 FTG (4 entry times on Tuesdays and Fridays, total of 8 Entries on Hotspring)

      1,000 FTG (Weekly FTG Blessing)

      That's a total of 12,000 FTG

*7,000 FTG (From 14 FTG [500] Potions, optional)
    • You can only do this method every other week, after that you can try to earn more points by earning magical gift badges to gift on npcs, dungeon points, nest points to purchase the beggar's boxes for the upcoming week when you can purchase pairs of beggar's boxes
    • Wonderful Points is not a problem since you can earn 2,500 total of wonderful points each day (2,000 from the daily quest if you complete the run with the jeweled crown + daily task)
    • For nightmare points, you will need to complete 3 runs on abyss mode before you can buy the 2nd beggar's box for a pair.
    • You can earn Magical Gift Badges on Slayer Mode if the event "LOST GOBLINS" occur, there's a total of 25 Goblins released on the stage, each goblin has a range of 2~5 Magical Badges on them, including gold, and some slayer shards, these Goblins can be killed with a total damage of atleast 75m depending on the difficulty (this is for abyss mode)

    Ending Statements

Crystal Points hunting is very straight forwarded, you just need to complete a box and you can earn a lot, doing daily tasks also adds up to the job of earning the points but they are not as efficient as completing a beggar's box.

Methods of completing 6 pairs of Beggar's Boxes requires a lot of time, effort, patience and also bills on your electricity, if you are playing a lot of hours infront of the computer, please be sure to drink at least plenty of water in order to stay hydrated, even when you're not doing much activities, you still get dehydrated by the stress coming from the game whenever you are p*ssed off, take a rest once in while, ED doesn't want you to kill yourself that is why there is an FTG limit and prevention of entering a dungeon if you are out of it.

This Concludes my Guide and details of Crystal Points and Beggar's Boxes, if i miss anything please do remind me in the comments and i will add it up on the thread.
Thanking BabyKuri for the tip about the Hot Spring Entry Times!

EDIT: Below are some useful info from other forum members, scroll down a bit and you will find very useful facts they have posted regarding crystal points and other related topics about beggar's box.

Thank you! You followed my advice and create a useful and helpful guide.

      • Afaik, Ladder is close since January 2017 and we cannot earn Ladder Points so this box is impossible to purchase.

      • Just to add, we can enter Hotspring and restore FTG 4 times every Tuesday and 4 times every Friday.
If you didn't enter Hotspring on Monday, you could use your Monday Entry Limit x2 on Tuesday (00:00-08:59) to restore FTG.
(Just take note that you need at least 15 minutes inside the hotspring to get the Lv 3 Buff applied).
You can enter again twice after 9AM reset, making it 4 times * 500 FTG restored = 2000 FTG total.
That would be the same with Thursday/Friday entry limit.

(also take note that players cannot enter Hotspring between 11PM-11:59PM)

This can help you save up to 28 pcs of Magic Grade Badges!

IMO, it's better to complete 2 pairs of Dungeon Beggar Boxes and 1 pair of Nest Beggar Box each week.
It's nearly impossible to clear 4 different Dungeon Beggar Boxes in a week (unless you're using VIP Coupon or FTG Potions)
200 dungeon runs requires a total of 12000 FTG (if you look at my FTG table above, we can only get as much as 12000 FTG using Hotspring exploit and no FTG pots).

Do note that Chiron Beach is not included in the Beggar Boxes. You still need to clear Chiron Beach to complete the [Complete daily task 5 times] and get [Additional Entry Ticket Token] for your Nest Beggar Boxes.

(But there's a way to clear the [Complete Daily Task 5 times] without clearing Chiron Beach. Don't use Auto-party. Just manually clear the other 4 dungeons and talk to Theme Park Grandpa afterwards to get the Theme Park Daily Quest. It is also counted in the [Complete Daily Quest 5 times] task.

i forgot to mention, the epic gifts you can purchase on the wonderful theme park store is not worth its price, even if it does give the most points, the total points you can earn from spending wonderful points is not worth its price, so it is better to actually hunt the gifts on abyss dungeons and on slayer mode

A very nice guild indeed. Just wanna commenting on the"Useful Tips" section tho.

        1. Repeated Gold Goblin Coin info. Better if just delete the whole thing because it is not that related to this Crystal Point stuff tho.

        2. Give sub-section a title, easing the reading. For example, "How to get two boxes at the same time", "Farming beggar boxes dungeons", etc.

I never really bought Sealed Boxes myself and became rather interested after seeing this thread. There's a question which I've been wondering for quite some time, which is how am I suppose to complete 12 let's say Volcano Nest runs? With the 3 weekly entry counts adding up together with 4 additional entry tickets, I would only have 7 runs out of 12. The only way I could think of is to complete the box in 2 weeks. Sorry if I'm missing something obvious :x

Daily quest gives you 3 tickets per day, 21 tickets per week. You need extra 9 tickets to clear the 12 runs, therefore 18 tickets for both nests, which require at least 6 days to complete.

        3. About the FTG part, you cannot fully use 1000 FTG as it is not a multiplication of 60, as you cannot enter any dungeon with FTG lower than 60.
        Is that intentional?...

For dungeons, you can enter with less than 60 FTG.
The restriction only applies to Slayer Mode, Slayer's Testing Ground and those nests that require FTG as extra entry.

This will help a lot of people (like me) who are striving to get our hands on Higher Tier-ed equips! Thank you for this!

I also want to add that you can farm crystal points from completing the main quests. If you are able to finish all of the chapters, you'll get 110,000 crystal points.
This is only for those players who hasn't yet finished or skipped their chapters in the main quest. If you have previously completed one chapter or all the chapters, you will no longer be able to get the crystal points.
Though, I am not sure as to what method is much more faster in obtaining crystal points and I hope someone will elaborate more on this method. I've searched in google on how many dungeons you have to run to complete all 22 chapters but the websites google has given me was outdated. This method also consumes a lot of FTG.

this is efficient while the player is leveling up, without any other experience boost like the 200% exp event, since your goal is to earn as much crystal points, without using much ftg because the higher your level, the more ftg is consumed, lvl1 starts at 6 ftg per run, and each chapter requires a few times of entry on 1 particular dungeon, and then proceeds to another dungeon, and since the level up system has changed and is more faster, the player might actually have a problem with completing the chapters without leveling up faster than the expected level or required level for that chapter quest of the main story line.

but 110,000 is like doing 11 beggar's boxes, but with less effort since you only need to run dungeons to complete the quests and obtain items, few quests requires reading them and understanding them and answering questions correctly, and doesn't need much resources or points to spend for buying the beggar's boxes with the same result.

i will add this up in the future, but for now, its better to understand your suggestion first so i can sum it up better for players to understand without confusion
