Mute/Hide option on chat

isn't this the time to put a mute/hide option for our chat? and also, if possible, hide or mute player chat bubbles while in a party so that we could focus on the run, without seeing noob player's chats so that we won't get distracted.

There have been times that i've tried to put electrical tape on my screen, in order to avoid seeing what they type on chat, but chat bubbles still pop up over their heads and i can still notice what they are saying.

is there a reason why ED can't even make this possible?

If it's on party chat or general chat I think you can choose to listen to another channel (e.g. guild) then you can untick the party and general chat while you're at it. But yeah, you can't avoid the balloons, have to bear with all caps and other stuff
