who cares if you get it faster. what would it actually change if more people had +12 L-grades? it's not enough that you can consistently clear the raid apparently, but now you have to do some masochistic grinding for gold and rely on rng and nx items for the enhancements. it's straight up bullshit especially when you need the best gear to even attempt idn hc.

i already got my l-grades to +12 this cap but it was a huge fucking grindy timesink. if nothing changes my team and I are basically done with the game after clearing IDN. you're just going to have to do the grinding bullshit again. sure whatever its an mmo and part of the genre but the grind in this game sucks ass compared to the better MMOs out there. if it wasnt for the fact that I love the combat I wouldnt be able to stomach the grind.

legit some people are so fucking afraid of change.
Your entire argument is "I'm too lazy to grind for the best gear in the game so make it easy". You aren't entitled to an easy pass to the game's best gear.

In the end it depends on what the developers of this game want. If they want a casual mmo they can inject gold and make L grades a breeze to get. If they want a challenging mmo they wont inject gold making L grades much more difficult to get. Judging by Genesis Accessories, I can see that they definitely are trying to make this game less casual, however that's just one portion of gearing and their end goal is up for interpretation.

uh no that's not my argument. my argument is that the grind is shitty in this game compared other mmos and almost every other region has an easier time upgrading l-grades. plus so much of the content is unrewarding.

dailies are honestly garbage in this game. you get jack shit for gold and you're basically gambling your time for the best title.

shit "time limiting" grinds: can only get x amount of y item every week. makes the game feel like a chore. can't miss out on a week or you'll be behind, but if you have plenty of free time in another week you're limited by how much you can get for some things. it doesnt matter how hard you work.

escalating fd requirements for raids: upgrading this stat relies so much on rng crafting and cash items. and now they're making the end game raid practically require a ton of it. not to mention you have to compete with gold buyers if someone happens to craft it and wants to sell it. you have to stay on top of grinding for gold for L-grade upgrades and now you have to also stay on top of grinding for gold for FD.

the grind isnt challenging. its time consuming, poorly designed and largely unrewarding for the amount you have to put in. I'm asking for a middle ground. Not a super easy mode where you get maxed l-grades in 3 days.

I agree that some of this game's content isn't very rewarding, though that is not a gold problem and surely wont be fixed by an injection.

In my opinion, this game faces a gearing progression problem and not a gold value problem. If you ever look at how a normal progression of gears go in 90 cap for example, you would see my point. You start off 90 cap with Caudas then progress rather smoothly into Coma gear. That piece of progression doesn't take very long and isn't necessarily instant at the same time. After Coma you would most likely progress into Coma U or L grades. You could also make a progression to Prophet after Coma then proceed to the aforementioned gears. Here is where you see the problem. It takes too long to progress from Coma or Prophet to Coma U or L grades. The reason why I believe people think there is a gold problem is because of this steep progression jump where players turn into non-consumers making the value of items worth much less since there is a lack of demand. Even then I believe we do not need a "middle ground" for L grades, we just need a better progression process that involves consuming many items/supplies that are found regularly in order to keep the economy flowing.

Also, consumption of time is a form of challenge.

As with all evaluation of economics, this is all my viewpoint with my bias and subjectivity.

Their idea of a gold injection strat, is to increase the amount of gold dropped from nests and dungeons. They've also implemented a feature in KDN, where those who have a certain amount of party members will receive an increased amount of gold. Dungeon grinding in 93cap is much better than what it was in 90/ you get more out of doing it compared to before.

What I would like, is if they'd tweaked the drop rate on Nightmare shards.

I think the gap between Coma/Prophet and Coma U grade is waaaaay too big. It takes absurdly long to get those shards, you're practically gonna get enough gold to enhance some L grades by the time you get all the shards required. You can get 5 shards a week if you're incredibly lucky with drops and it takes 30 to get a single Coma U. That's 6 weeks of doing the same nests and crossing your fingers for a drop. And that is the best circumstance, many times I find myself only getting 3-4 shards a week. Coma U is about to become redundant anyway since Lv 93 Nightmares are coming out that have better stats than even IDN U and Coma U. I'm sure a lot of people who are still trying to get Coma U are going to be very upset about that. Although I won't sing all their sorrows since they had quite a lot of time to get Coma U by now.

I am for an increase in gold drop but not too much. I just think that repair costs compared to the amount of gold we get from dungeons is ridiculous even with Golden Goose VIP, you're basically gaining like a penny for completing a dungeon unless you get some lucky drops. For the most part I agree with Escorted's arguments, but there needs to be some minor increase in gold drop in dungeons. Obviously giving away free gold like what EU did is certainly a no-no. Nests right now are only worth doing for Goddess Auras which builds towards Genesis Accessories, the soon to be irrelevant Coma U shards, and Quality Life Giving to enhance said equipment or sold for gold. Nests not dropping crafting materials in 90cap and above was a big hit to the marketplace and a huge motivation killer to do nests imo.

Basically, there needs to be more ways to get materials and there should be a small increase in gold dropped in nests and dungeons to better supplement the loss of gold in repairs and make players want to complete actual content without feeling that they're losing they're losing their money and time.

Well considering IDN L grade equips cost as much as a main hand to enhance per piece. If people think suggesting other players to just work 10x harder to earn more gold is the solution then i'd have to disagree. People are already having trouble enhancing a main hand to 12+ when being a FREE TO PLAY PLAYER. Just imagine that much work x7. They made it this way because of how the other servers are. I know how people feel like an injection is not worthwhile and I do agree to a certain extent but you gotta look at it through a few different perspectives.
