Hmmm..... from what I can observe either 2 things is possible:
1. The auto-patch update didn't install correctly overwriting some .pak files midway and interrupted(by Antivirus).
2. If you downloaded the manual patch, it might be corrupted.
Solution:
If you have the client, just re-install and try patching again. Temporary disable your Anti-Virus/Firewall and try patching.
REMEMBER TO ENABLE THEM BACK AFTER THE PATCH IS DONE!~ Midnight Environment == PEACEFUL ~

archievsullivan you do not get any error message?
Make sure nothing is getting in the way of your internet connection, either physical or within your computer (like your antivirus and firewall). Some ISP let you get a new IP if you reset the modem, please try this.
