Remove your mods i think -
If no mods are involved, you may have some patch leftovers. Post a picture of your game folder and I will tell you what to get rid of.Comment

Hmmm..... from what I can observe either 2 things is possible:
1. The auto-patch update didn't install correctly overwriting some .pak files midway and interrupted(by Antivirus).
2. If you downloaded the manual patch, it might be corrupted.
Solution:
If you have the client, just re-install and try patching again. Temporary disable your Anti-Virus/Firewall and try patching.
REMEMBER TO ENABLE THEM BACK AFTER THE PATCH IS DONE!~ Midnight Environment == PEACEFUL ~

Delete all those patch0000000.pak, those can cause the error. And delete the DNUpdater_000to000.exe you don't need those anymore.Comment

archievsullivan you do not get any error message?
Make sure nothing is getting in the way of your internet connection, either physical or within your computer (like your antivirus and firewall). Some ISP let you get a new IP if you reset the modem, please try this. -
Verbena no error message sir... but problem solved after auto patching today... thx for your help...
