My friend just download DN, when he tries to start the launcher to download it give error text saying "currently you are not able to reach the server (404)"

here's something might help you out, just a copy-paste from the original poster @Gaming_Boy
1. Go to your start an type "Exploit Protection"
2. Turn off 2 things under the System Protection Settings TAB:
- Data Execution Prevention(DEP)
- Validate Exception Chains(SEHOP)
3. Restart your computer.
4. Try running Dn again from the "dnlauncher" as "Administrator".
Let me know if it works.
NOTE: Please revert back these settings after you run Dragon nest.
this was only a solution for players who can't play the game because of the OS they are using is windows 10, if you want to play this without fiddling with your system, i suggest revert back to the previous version of your operating system and avoid updating it, if you can't then back up a DN folder after you have downloaded it successfully and put it in a different drive preferably a flash drive atleast
