Actually I didn't ... Funny thing is I never actually sold any... I will show pictures of how I got my gold, after it isn't profitable of course... If you remind me ill say how in a month or so by then i would have crashed the market price....
It's something everyone can do, costs no money at all and not much time xd
Not to mention, I L graded my other gladaitor then Restarted upon the server transfer... Leaving everything i bought, such as 3rd STR plates on him, you can check if you want... The sad thing is i made a new account so I couldn't even bank share it lol

lol like I said it's not the cost that's the problem, it's the RNG, if you know exactly how much it's gonna cost, you can save up that amount and freely spend the rest of your gold elsewhere and keep the economy going, but due to RNG I'm always afraid and hesitant to spend my gold until the L-grade problems are over with.
I honestly wouldn't even mind if they double, hell even triple the cost but guarantee the chance of upgrading.

Didnt do dat either queen didnt think id have to put that in since its illegal, it doesn't count as a fair way to gear and i was saying i geared ez +12 RDNL fairly o.o.
Its more so something that shouldnt have to be mentioned or confirmed imo, I don't know NA's community and ethics so well... NA is weird.Last edited by Gladiator; 10-13-2016, 08:34 AM.

have repeatable quests in town that give gold and increasing gold drops in nests. i read that in 80 cap that was the case with repeating quests. once zephyra plains abyss is gone the gold gain from dungeons will be so little once your pwr runs out. and you then have to rely on golden goblin luck to get anything.
the game needs more materials that are worth trading too. evolution coma and nightmare shards couldve been like that but they made it untradeable. and now the gear is outclassed by ultimate theano.

i do agree they are good money making to sell, but for the ones that are making them the cost of each rings is 32k, which is a lot considering our low economy. thats without saying the amount of time you spend for the light and shadows cubes which could have been put instead into zp grinding since its still here.
just my unpopular opinion tbh.

Coming from being stuck in I suppose what can be called "Middle Class" in this game, I can say that essentially any solution posted here will cause an issue either in the short-run or long-run.
Lowering L-grade enhancement costs would turn what's supposed to be an end game achievement to something that people who (unpopular opinion) really didn't put effort into getting obtaining this far too easily. But then again, there are sell runs so that will be exploited somehow.
Increasing gold drops in dungeons is honestly the best option in my opinion. This however, no matter how carefully done, will eventually lead to inflation in the long run. But hey, makes the dungeon grinding makes more sense for an MMO type game.
Sell Golden Eggs is just a legal way to buy gold :x
I mean, MMO's need to be grindy in SOME sense, as well as being difficult for people who don't put as much time. I know people will argue that they have lives and such, but why make it so simple that there's no drive to achieve anything? I admit that DN takes it a bit far with the RNG enhancements cause you can spend 21k going from +7 to +8 on your Offhand (Still salty about that), but people shouldn't just easily be able to +12 without some time being invested.
One of the main issues is that we are behind other versions and know what's required before hand, so we stock that or know to stock that once needed. Combine that with low gold drops, deep gold sinks and no true other way to make gold, it's an issue. But NA kinda screwed with any solution.

Idk about you but I thought having some classes cost 3x the price or even 5x the price to gear depending on server was terrible in the early days of them hosting the game. I saw plenty of people quit over that so I can't even dream of that starting all over again. It wasn't just about "sell the one you don't need buy the one you do" because sometimes people were drastically hoarding one making it impossible to see at decent prices for days (or at all) when people just wanted a few to enhance gear on their mains. You could also get stuck getting worthless item A all day long, and never get the more expensive item B so kind of a kick to the face. If people get screwed over on their mains, just say goodbye to them.
New enhancing mats could help though but just please, nothing like the cluttered space hogging 7 jewels.Last edited by Remii; 10-13-2016, 05:13 AM.

Again, its not about the amount of gold sunk from L grades, its about how easily accessible everything is, and the lack of variety + the gearing process thinning. Rely on just 1 material for purposes that only require that material (Garnet for enhancing, crafting), less variety of materials used for epic nest equipment (up until 90 cap, where you can easily get a whole epic piece, skipping the crafting process, now we can get 93 epics from DUNGEONS. Garnet, you're almost guarrenteed it from dungeons, before you would only get 1 out of the 7 lustres, (ruby, topaz, obsidian, sapphire, onyx, diamond, the tinkerer one.) By having variety, it reduces the amount of specific materials coming into the game thus increasing demand, it also creates a market based on the demand of however many people are playing certain classes. This is a good thing for both the economy and the player, because you will only ever need 3 out of the 7 lustres that were available once upon a time, you could sell the rest so you can buy more of what you need. Right now, since theres no diamond equivalent, Garnet is literally used for EVERYTHING. Enhancing epics, uniques and even future 93 L grades, crafting crests.
All lowering L grade cost is going to do, is letting people finish their L grades faster, and save their gold faster. it's not going to help other materials go up in price, if rich people arent circulating their gold.
But thats only 1 part of my solution, refer to my post on page 2.Last edited by Ice Poseidon Waiting room; 10-13-2016, 04:50 AM.

L grades are supposed to be hard to get and enhance to where they are usable. Getting to +6 is totally manageable and reasonable. Getting anywhere past 10 or 11 gets rather ridiculous unless you have 200+ apple alts, sell RDN HC runs or straight up sell EC/NX items. The amount of hours you have to spend doing Zephyra Plains on Abyss to even attempt enhancing your L grades once is insane.
After I got +10 mainhand and +11 offhand, I have basically given up on going past that.
Edit: Didn't sell FD either
Edit 2. Didn't buy gold ofc LOL didn't think it would have been needed to say thats illegal lelLast edited by Gladiator; 10-13-2016, 08:31 AM.

Of course, that would imply that having such RNG is bad too, but imagine how much it takes for the entire server to even generate 50k raw gold in the first place. That's an astronomical amount to be sunk out of the economy by NA's standards.
The way I see it, the people suggesting to lower the cost of L grades aren't thinking of themselves most of all. It's for the health of the entire economy. I'm sure most people here would rather see the economy shift towards making gold by farming items and playing the market instead of farming raw gold through NPCing apples on alts and spamming the same dungeons for raw gold for hours on end. That's behavior that simply doesn't exist in most other servers - and that is quite frankly going to be the reason why NA will remain in such a state until the developers actually care to look over to see what's happening to us.
Still, it's hard to judge exactly whether or not reducing the cost of L-grade enhancing (or enhancing in general for that matter, as they likely wouldn't reduce L-grade enhance costs without also dropping the costs of lower-grade enhancing) will have a positive or negative affect in the long-term. On one hand, it will mean that it will be easier to upgrade L-grades (though not so easy that everyone and their mother can do it without even trying), and this might also extend to other areas. On the other hand, we also weaken one of the game's main gold sinks. If it ends up becoming too weak, while things will be much better in the short term, the inflation that's likely to occur in the long term will have severe consequences (not to the extent of bots back in 40 cap or so, but the effects will likely still be noticeable when mats end up becoming abundant enough to be worthless on the market). It would be especially devastating if we ended up getting reduced enhancement fees only for Eyedentity to decide to give a huge gold injection through events/increase regular in-game gold generation anyway, and thus make it seem like the gold sink wasn't even there.
The reason the apple-NPCing behavior (which I also don't like seeing, just to get that out of the way) isn't a thing on the other servers is because those servers got some insane gold injections (especially EU after that one incident). So yeah, for them, high-enhanced L-grades are pretty much as common as Epic grades are for us, but I'm pretty sure any who didn't get the benefits of the injections initially are very unlikely to manage the same accomplishments unless they open their wallets (or are lucky enough to get an exceedingly-rare item that's in high demand) due to the likely over-inflated marketplace prices. Mostly because all of the other gold sinks aren't strong enough to properly regulate their artificially-super-inflated economies.
We had a somewhat similar situation when gold bots where running rampant on our server. I recall there were complaints about that and how they were destroying the game's economy (a common complaint among any game plagued by a large quantity of gold bots and an excess of unpunished gold buyers). But now the bots have become practically non-existent as far as the economy is concerned, and people are now complaining that there's not enough gold, partially due to the fact that the traditional in-game methods are no longer as beneficial, but the common reason seems to be due to the fact that we never got the same gold injections the other servers had.
And regardless, the apple-NPCing behavior is so deeply ingrained in the NA community by this point that no amount of enhancement fee reductions or injections are going to get rid of it unless Eyedentity does something to make it entirely pointless. People are still going to do what gets them the most money with the least effort.Last edited by BowieSage; 10-13-2016, 01:44 AM.

I was not clear on my last post, but its not that hard to make gold.. just boring. Atm I am fine with the system. I really do not want to see a gold injection due to some people complaining they can't get +12's. Settle for your +10's and call it a day.

I see what you're getting at however I'm not sure the job part was the best of examples. Enhancing isn't like getting a paycheck from a job that's random, it's more like taking your paycheck out to a casino where enhancing would translate to requiring triple 7's on a slot machine. The higher the enhance, the higher you have to bet. Our paychecks would be like the raw gold from dungeons, which is fairly consistent unless you're the master tracker of gold goblins.
