I definitely have to agree with you on the part of Nexon doing a better job at managing the game, and some of the events were fun (the one that was around at the time of the Machina update gave me even more reason to try one out, and the Kali creation event was nice too (still have the title for reaching level 50 during that event on my Spirit Dancer)). Sad thing is: that's not enough for this community, which often demands the same items that cash players get without having to actually spend money for it. You give one item, ONE ITEM, that doesn't satisfy the community, and suddenly you're the worst publisher in the entire MULTIVERSE (regardless of Nexon's reputation at the time). I STILL remember all the complaining that happened after the 3-piece Crystal accessory set was distributed. It didn't match the stats of rare accessories at the time (was given its own stats, and they even SAID that the set would have its own stats, so the stats on the temp ones, while the same as rares at that time, weren't final), so people complained about it (and I think there were complaints about the 5-piece Moonlight set too, as it only gave half of each stat (even the percentage stats) compared to rares at that time, despite having the same set bonus). Personally, I couldn't care less about the stats even if you paid me. Free stuff is free stuff. You can't really afford to be entitled and/or picky about what you get in a F2P MMO. Some publishers/developers don't like that if it's on a mass scale and may, in turn, feel ENTITLED to the power to ignore any requests made by the community of one version of the game without significant personal or financial ramifications (considering our version likely makes the LEAST amount of money compared to the other servers, so the community's not really in a good position to be trying to make requests and demands until that changes, and ED likely doesn't lose much by going with their regular game plan instead of bending to NA's will).

Yes, to what you say about Nexon not really being given content fast enough. The way I see it Nexon hosted the game but they also paid ED for rights to the game in NA.
But actually Nexon did a better job of managing the game and promoting it with the various events and promotions. They gave several opportunities for players to earn accessory sets to complete stats, so many events that were well thought out(the community came up with some of them) and they were fun. The rewards were high enough to motivate people. And they had way more interaction with the players, and input from.

Do you play in Sea coup? Have you ever bird in sea and no one reply? NA been boring so I been using my friend account and play Rune and spend a lot of time in SEA trust me they more gear then us but most of them with good gear die a lot. Facts 1 Sea has more GOLD BUYER then us 100 buck = 100 k so more people with gears but no skills Fact 2 Most skill player and vet quit . Facts 3 every man for them self in Sea. Please don't say Join a guild I'm in Vongola. I play in both version so I can tell you that NA has better players and nicer players that's willing to help.

A server transfer MAY see a minor population boom, but looking back on how the last server transfer went over it's not going to work if EYEdentity do not listen to their communities and fix issues that are being voiced. I've previously written a forum post about my problems with this game a couple months ago so I'm not going to say them here, and all those problems still stand with no sight of a change.
Now, to get it out of the way before I try to explain, I am not a Nexon fanboy. Never have been. My time with Nexon began with Dragon Nest, and it ended once the transfer happened. If Nexon hosts a game that interests me, I might consider going back. But as of the beginning of DN 93 cap, my time with Nexon has long ended.
With that out of the way, the reason I feel the way I do: yes, we were ALL frustrated by the lack of content and events prior to the end of 90 cap. But if one thinks about it, most of the stuff the community was frustrated by wasn't really Nexon's fault. In reality, Nexon was just the middleman and messenger between us and ED. For the most part, the primary reason for the lack of content was Eyedentity, since they ultimately called the shots over if and when content would be translated and localized for the NA server. If they felt that Nexon wasn't giving them enough for certain content, then no amount of complaining from the community would fix the issue.
When the transfer was announced, a lot of people thought that everything would suddenly become better if Nexon was cut out of the equation and the community was given direct communication with the developer (I was personally of the camp that kept a more realistic opinion: while the possibly of the game improving was certainly there, the odds were low, and we were more likely to trade one part that the community viewed negatively for another). To say the least, nothing could have been further from the truth: all that was accomplished was that the middleman, the only group that represented the NA audience in the business environment and could actually attempt to push for ED to deliver content the community wanted, was entirely removed without the underlying issues being dealt with. And as was hinted at in the quote, it didn't take long after the small population increase to figure out that absolutely nothing changed in the long run, except for one thing: without a publisher to communicate for us and/or push for changes, Eyedentity, as the developer, is given much more freedom over what we get and don't get, and can easily ignore any and all of our requests so long as the community, as a whole, only spends enough money to meet the bare minimum for content updates.
So yeah, if Eyedentity doesn't think that making conversion costumes tradeable (regardless of what price the community would set in the MP) would convince people to buy more conversion eggs (considering those that ARE spending on them stop as soon as they get their 5th thread), there's nothing forcing them to do so and thus they won't bother making any changes, especially since those costumes are untradeable on the other servers.Last edited by BowieSage; 04-27-2017, 05:22 PM.

Honestly, you can't judge something like that on a few experiences.... There are plenty of skilled players on every server, you can't really compare like that... NA player's would do pretty bad in SEA especially if they are new and our economy's merge... Hardly anyone helps on SEA we honestly just need to have the same benefits SEA and EU has...Last edited by Couplord; 04-27-2017, 03:06 PM.

You cannot really make DN open world due to the engine it runs on, the hope of Dragon Nest becoming open world died with the Dragon Nest 2 project.

That's why if they transfer the NA player over there problem solve. Hardly any guild helps in Sea unlike NA they got everything except for the players. NA players + Sea server is the best match up

maybe there to busy building bunkers out of fear that the north Korea's might nuke them.... yaaaa that's it hast to be

There is no reason to quit the game at this moment simply because you do not have unique costumes. Is all of the current content clearable (and pretty reasonably efficiently too) with the epic costumes and whatever gear you have enhanced? Yes. (I am assuming you are a reasonably well geared player with some L's and atleast > +10 obsession weapons and gems.) Not being able to have the uniques is not a big deal for me. And similarly for other people like me. But some other issues in game are. Those are more serious, Simply having conversion costumes tradeable is not going to fix those issues.
