I created an account but I can't verify it because when i try to click log in, nothing loads. I tried waiting, reopening browser, restarting PC, and even turning off firewall.

It's nothing to do with your computer, the website isn't coded correctly.
There's a thread here you should read, and one of the posts there talks about how to work around the problem.
