Elemental damage vs pure

Hi Good day to everyone here , First time in posting here on the forum so please be good to me

Just want some information regarding a topic that i've read somewhere on the forums that it was a lot more advisable to be converting to elemental attack for pure characters rather than going full magic/destruction

just want some further insights on this one for using ECJ lessens the attack % of the said element , so will it actually be better to be using elemental attacks ??
and in case yes what value should be the elemental attack damage % be around that could be considered fine already ??
and also best elemental to use ATM
any answers would be highly appreciated

Converting is better, it gets better around 20% element I believe I read this somewhere but you can always simulate it on gear sim.
The best element depends on what you are doing, but Light or Dark is normally recommended to start off with so you can use technique rings.
