altea gacha box or epic costume part

so i have enough gold to buy 7 stacks of altea gacha box(i'm aiming for the epic weapon)
but i'm also confused if i should use it to buy epic costume pants for the element stats given xD
help! what should i do? do i try my luck? or go for the sure thing? @.@

Go for the costumes first, so you can farm better, prioritize first what is sure, so you won't regret it.
