yes it is, if you don't have friends
example: gifting only requires you to type in the IGN of the character you're gifting with, after that the character will receive the reward the instant you confirm it, the event did not state that it is per account basis from which if it is, then only the one who sent it will be rewarded, and not the other character or your sub you are planning to gift with will not receive any rewards from the said event.
again, you can gift your subs, and both of them will still be eligible, since gifting only requires the IGN regardless if the IGN is on the same account.
