some questions about account being hack

Good day all DN forumer ,

one of my friend account got hack recently ,

after doing a report at 1:1 to ED ,
will ED gave back the lost item after investigation?
he really lost a lot at the account .
hopefully some one have this experience could gave me some answer.

he never gave any detail to other people
never buy gold
never press any link at website

and some how he got hack and lost everything.

Did your friend played at a Cyber Cafe at some point? Some Cyber Cafe are in an open area where anyone can come and go as they please, your friend might be a victim of keylogging where a keylogging software or hardware is installed or a device with the software inserted on a computer is recording (logging) every keystroke of a user on their keyboard, this is usually used by many employers to observe their employees' activities and for some to use covertly to spy on other people on what websites they are trying to access or to know their conversation with someone.

And if a player gets hacked, and all their items , gold , or any CC left are stolen from their account, ED will not be held accountable for any losses of that player that got hacked, it is the player's responsibility to keep their account safe, if they aren't the type of person who regularly maintains a security check on their account by changing their 2nd pass or their password atleast monthly or a few weeks or a month, and that they are playing at a Cyber cafe where its an open area and anyone can come and go as they please, their account wont really be safe unless the people in that same place is civilized and not just a bunch of greedy people who are going to do what they want and steal anything from someone's account if they get the chance to do so.

another tip: Do not make your userID or password the same as that of your facebook or any other social media accounts, this is also another way for a hacker to determine what account details you are using in order to log in from your gaming account to DN or any other games, be sure to have a separate set of userID and password and that you always check to see if you will remember those details if you are not going to log in to your accounts for a while, make sure to keep a notepad text for it just incase and save it to a folder safe from prying eyes of any other user on that same computer system, ofc dont do that on a Cyber Cafe's pc, u dont want to get hacked too early right?

Just want to ask maybe u have idea.. my account was ban temporarily due to verification required. what does it mean? already sent report last week , almost 1 week now but still not fixed. support actions is very slow. already sent all informations. it just like after 1 days or 2 days they will response to my message. so disappointing with this sytem. is there other way to sent directly to ED? since still cherry credits holding the support.

You probably sent your report on Cherry Credits instead on the 1:1 support of ED from their main website at sea.dragonnest.com
