Is there anyone here who doesn't believe that whales (those who spend hundreds/thousands on the game) are the main reason games like this one stays afloat? 'Cause I'm pretty sure my spending of, let's say, $30 on a costume per 2-3 months isn't going to keep DN NA up. Yeah, it helps, but it isn't what they need. They need more than that, I'd imagine. Like, if my small spending budget for this game was enough, I feel like they'd arrange the cash shop so I can get more than just 1-2 things of use with $30. Instead, there's cost for costumes, cost for V.eye.P pass, cost for eggs, cost for jellies, cost for crest and talisman expansions, and so on. It's obscene.

Okay, so if whales are the reason this game stays alive, how does a $15/month handout hurt ED?

And so we're clear, I'm down to wait and see if people get coupons at midnight PST tonight. If the DNP coupon thing is gone, I will get over it, so don't think I'm just QQ'ing. I just would've enjoyed some information as to when it would disappear and an explanation on why, since it doesn't seem to me like $15/month is jack squat in this game.

I don't believe we received a dnp coupon on the day of our Nov. update either. So just wait at least one day before getting hysterical. Now if they did decide to end it with this update, then we're just gonna have to get over it.

You guys don't even know if they intentionally removed it and you're already crying over not getting free handouts for logging in. Honestly something like this is a privilege if anything, they didn't have to pay us for showing our faces everyday for months you know?

The amount of negativity that flows when ED screws up one thing is hilarious. One would almost think theyre constantly refreshing waiting for the next thing to complain about so they can moan over it. This is a F2P game people, lest that fact be washed over of course there's bugs. Yall expecting way too much.

That said, this is one thing that should stay in the game. While unheard of, it gives everyone a chance to get those cash shop items for their character and encourages continue to play. It be a shame but considering how much they gave, can't be too mad over it.

Personally, I'm not so much bothered but confused by the rationale behind the removal of the coupons.

It's less than 50 cents (USD) in cash shop credit per day, per account. It has no major impact on their bottom line, why take that away?

It's awesome for attracting players and keeping players. Hell, I was trying to save for a costume (using the coupons), but planned to buy a second one (with RL money) with it. Think of a "Buy one, get one" kind of deal that we see in real life.

Now I'm just sitting here like "Okay, that plan is scrapped. Now what?"

I wouldn't be too surprised if they removed it... the description always read that they were free tidbits to celebrate the "rebirth of dragon nest", and that we should enjoy them before they're gone. Maybe it's possible the whole rebirth phase is over and the petals went with them. Hopefully not, though. I thought they were great for people who couldn't just spend real life money on vault items. Irine's daily gift still provides the 500 DNP if you can afford the V.eye.P pass.

That's worrying. Hope we get some sort of notice from EYE about this. I mean I'd rather they admit it was a mistake but still give out daily 500 dnp, rather than ending event without any notice.
